As a newcomer to Griffin, I often listen to the locals’ recommendations for restaurants. That has been a good idea until I tried this place. I can almost feel my arteries hardening from the fat-laden fare. The fried chicken, two kinds of fried fish, hush puppies and other foods were too greasy. The heavily-salted green beans and other vegetables were over cooked. My fellow senior citizen diners definitely got their money’s worth, but quantity does not trump quality.

We were meeting family at the restaurant, they arrived 6:45 we were running behind but they called and told us that at 7pm our food would only be To go. We got there and saw the inside was still open at 7:15 sat down with them ( after they already paid for us)but we couldn’t use the buffet after 7. My in laws had to make a to go box. The owner told us even though they paid for us to eat the buffet that we could only get to go boxes, we asked why does it say they close at 8 of she said they close at 7but was still letting people in at 7:30 . So my in laws paid for 5 people to eat buffet but we couldn’t eat buffet so they had paid for to go also ,On top of that the lady tells us that if the plates under the weight they would get the money owned but if it’s over then we would have to pay them more. The owner was telling all of us a different story on when they close and how much it is. The food is not worth the bad hospitality!

Good home country cooking. Dinner was delicious. We went about an hour before closing and they were still bringing out fresh food. That impressed me.

Not bad, but not really a place for me. I don't really do buffets and weighed meals to go are a little overpriced, so you're better off actually eating the buffet, or you'll end up paying $25 bucks for Chopped steak with gravy and a piece of chicken.

We had a nice afternoon drive down to a small town called Milner Georgia. We ate lunch at Tim's light house buffet 😋.
It was very busy( full), on a Sunday afternoon but we didn't have to wait long, ( about 5 minutes)
They have a lot of hard working people there. They worked together to keep everything functioning and flowing efficiently as it should. The buffet had a lot of different food choices and it was kept full and hot or / cold .
Everyone was friendly and working hard and fast.
The restaurant was clean too.
I will be definitely be back.
I would recommend this to all my friends and everyone else who might be ready this review.
Yummy 😋
Now let's go home...teeheehehe
