This resort is in a great location. It's well shaded and close to boat docks. They have a pool with a wall in it to clearly block the deep end from the shallow end which was perfect for my small children. The cabins are in some serious need of deep cleaning. It is clear that they are not cleaned on a regular basis very well. The gutters were full of debris and the air conditioner leaked water outside the front door so that we drug in mud. We were given damp towels and only one per person for the entire weekend. The cabins are out dated but would not be bad if they were cleaned more properly. ||Like I said the location was great and I really liked the pool for the kids but if I returned here I would bring my own linens and some cleaning supplies to make it more comfortable for my family.

Awful experience! Resort was in horrible shape, managers were unclean and untruthful. We will never be back unless under new management. Resort could be nice place. It's sad, really!

This place doesn't even deserve one star but had to mark it to leave review.

This resort is poorly maintained. Not only dirty but also in dier need of upkeep. The actual owner lives in illinois and apparently doesnt keep up with what is being or not being ||done at the resort. There was hair on the shower wall. Mouse droppings all around. All deck doors were off track. Screens were very dirty. Spiders and bugs all over house.

This place could be really cute, it just needs to be better taken care of. The pool was green and when we walked into the cabin it wreaked of mold. Just really dirty an smelly. We went to another place that was a lot cleaner.

Check in time is 2 pm when we arrived on one was there to help us. We called and left messages and waited 30+ min and left. They called us back and we decided to give it another shot. The cabin was filthy! Looked like it hadn't been mopped since the beginning of the season if ever. The air conditioner leaking all over the porch. Just not good||

Over the past several years the resort has changed. Under newer management and maintenance the resort no longer has issues you hear about in the previous reviews. I would highly suggest giving this resort a chance you wont be sorry

We rented cabin 6 and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The staff make you feel like family. We cant wait to go back!!!!!
