Fantastic upscale hotel, just off of River Street. We enjoyed the quieter area, and were able to walk to the main downtown (though it was a bit dark at night). There is a house car and driver for guest use, when available, and we were usually able to enjoy that. Couple of breakfast options, including an attached delicious bakery and coffee store. Pool area was gorgeous and comfortable. The decor, cleanliness and friendly service made for a fabulous stay!

Absolutely first class hotel and experience. Great neighborhood down the River a little but still within relatively easy walking distance of the historic district. The rooms are clean and stylish and the shower pressure is outstanding. Great rooftop bar with amazing views. Two employees of not. David the bellman is an incredible ambassador for the hotel. He was extraordinary in the efforts he went to to be helpful and service oriented. Alia, a waitress in Fleeting was equally as pleasant and engaging. Used to always stay at either Bardo or Perry Lane. It’s The Thompson now going forward.

We were on a recent weekend getaway to Savannah. ||This was a fantastic hotel on the waterfront. The location was great. Very clean and well thought out room design. The food and drinks at Bar Julian were top notch. We will definitely stay here again on a return trip to Savannah.

This hotel is beautiful! Our room was quiet and cozy with moody colors and a great view. The roof top bar has the best view in Savannah of sunsets over the bridge, directly down the River. Valet was a bit slow. There is live music on the green in front of the hotel on some weekends and they offer free bikes. Great experience!

This is a bit embarrassing, but I had some of the best meals in Savannah at the hotel restaurant and bar.

Fleeting had the most amazing crab cakes - I wish I'd had time to go back for another. The flavor is strongly savory and rich.

Their beef tartar is a bit rich - it's tender beef with tarter sauce, which makes the dish super heavy.

The pasta was even surprisingly decent.

For breakfast, they have some amazing bread dishes. I liked the pizza if you like thicker, chewier crusts. I absolutely adored the Adjaruli Khachapuri - really nice bread, rich stringy mozzarella, and yolky egg for mashing in. They have another one that is similar but with more of an eggs Benedict flavor, which is also good (though don't get both). The shakshuka is very well seasoned, though the egg in ours was a bit overcooked. The bread that comes with it is so fluffy and light.

The hotel itself is nice - it's newly built, right by a free bus stop (and ferry, though I couldn't for the life of me figure out the ferry schedule), and I think the hotel also has a car that can take people downtown. It's a bit removed from the main downtown - I suggest walking along the river rather than having to cross what felt like a busy main street to get downtown.

This is a Wonderful Hotel! The rooms were comfortable and clean. The entire hotel staff was pleasant, and professional. They went out of their way to explain the services, and offer assistance whenever needed. The lobby decor was such a comforting and inviting space, especially after a long trip. Kelli Koontz Wilson

Great hotel in Savannah. I would only stay here if I come back to visit. Room was super clean and updated. Bed was comfortable and loved the service in the dining area. There is not free parking, only valet.

Thompson Savannah is part of the Hyatt brand. You won't be disappointed m.

The hotel & decor are stunning. The food and drinks (especially the Bloody Mary's at Bar Julian) are outstanding. Location is convenient & walkable. Staff are friendly and attentive. My room was surprisingly big and comfortable. I can't say enough good things about my stay there.
