Room quite ample and bed reasonably comfortable, but still didn't quite get a good night's sleep owing to the sound of people coming and going at all hours, doors opening and closing. Would also recommend installation of reading lights on either side of the bed, as having only the overhead room lights is both to bright and awkward if you're with someone trying to sleep before you. Like the lady bartender a lot, but wish the restaurant offered a bit more variety for dinner.

Paid more than SGD200 a night which is honestly pricey for such a secluded place. However this is the only hotel in Winslow which looks the newest and nicest.

Room review
Very spacious room and bathroom. As per all other reviews, the toilet exhaust is indeed loud and can’t be turn off. Closing the door helps and I was able to sleep. Overall the room was great but somehow I can hear vibrations / sound through the pillow (my bed), if you were to sleep sideways.

Breakfast review
Only had the breakfast once out of the 2 nights. It ends at 9am and they will not refill it towards the end, which is great for minimal wastage, but not for people who wake up late. A decent spread ranging from cereal, eggs, potatoes, and pastries.

Here is my list of complaints:
Beware

Outrageous pet fee of $75 at this rather mediocre hotel.
No mention of the high fee on the website.
Bathroom fan doesn’t shut off, loud enough to hear with the bathroom doors closed.
Heating/ac unit also extremely loud.
Shower cheap plastic flooring is slippery and thin so it gives in when you stand on it. Seems like a safety issue here.
No bed side lighting.
Overall very poor and nonfunctional design.
Would not recommend or give them my money ever again

The Windsor located in Oklahoma City was a breath of fresh air! The hotel was beautifully appointed & smelled so good! The rooms were unique & unlike the average hotel chain. They had a complementary hot breakfast which was fresh & delicious. Even better was the staff we encountered. Everyone was friendly, polite & hospitable. I would highly recommend staying at the Windsor & will return when i’m in town!

The room was clean & nice. There was no extra Toilet paper roll in the room. There was a strong air freshener/scent in the entry of the hotel & in the dining area that was way too strong. The staff was friendly & the entertainment area was nice. Good value overall

I’m giving the hotel a lower review not because of the service or location, I loved that there was such a nice place in Winslow and the food served at the bar was terrific, but because of the extremely loud fan in the bathroom that doesn’t have an off-switch. The very nice desk clerk was apologetic about it, but explained they leave the fans on to reduce the possibility of mold. Fine, as a choice, but I doubt Arizona air is humid enough to encourage a lot of mold. Even if that is not the case, the fan shouldn’t be loud enough at 65db to keep me from sleep. Closing the bathroom door only helped a little, as did listening to an audiobook probably loud enough to disturb my neighbors… So, if they want to run the fans all the time, they should install quieter ones.

The rooms are small and the staff unhelpful.

Every employee I approached treated me like I was an annoyance for interacting with them. The front desk literally greeted me with a "what?" when I walked up to check in. The rooms are only cleaned upon request - which was never communicated when we checked in. Breakfast is supposedly from 6am-9am. It was never ready at 6am. I missed it completely more than once because I had to leave at 6:30 and they still hadn't set it up. (I stayed here for two weeks on a job in town.) The entry light to my room was burned out. I asked the front desk several times if it could be fixed. It never was.

These are the smallest rooms that I've ever seen for this tier of hotel. The bathroom fan cannot be turned off and is rather loud when you're trying to get to sleep. Someone thought it was be great to put a full length mirror directly across from the bathroom door and then put the toilet facing the door. So, if you don't close the door all the way and it swings open, you get the joy of watching yourself on the toilet. I never realized how much I used a bedside lamp at hotels until I stayed in one that doesn't have one.

The only real plus is that it is right off of the freeway. For someone traveling it's an easy overnight stay.

Stayed during the busiest weekend in town.

Pros:

Clean

free pool tables and grills outside.

Friendly bartenders

Cons:

Railroad hotel - constant noise

Best amenity is bar - too bad it doesn't open until afternoon and also closes at 10pm.

Bar tender is ALSO the cook, so no brunch for you on vacation.

Also, if you want breakfast - no sleeping in; completely closed by 9 AM.

Poorly trained night staff at front desk. Rude as well.

Loud bathroom fan that cannot be shut off

No phone in room to call front desk.

Ice machine stayed broken all weekend.

At over $200 a night (though i imagine it was partly surge pricing).. I expected a bit more from my stay
