This was such a cute little spot! On a Sunday afternoon it was very busy, but our drinks still came out quickly. The staff were all very pleasant. We visited in October 2024. We tried the pumpkin mule - unfortunately it was not good, too much soda water in it, didn’t notice any pumpkin or vodka flavor. Atmosphere is great, lots of art work for sale on the walls. Lots of places to sit. We loved talking to the staff! The girls were great!

This coffee shop is 11/10. The service was phenomenal. The coffee that I tried today was the British Islander Macadamia Nut, White Chocolate Mocha which was beyond good . I was shocked on how good the coffee was. I added oat milk to the coffee as well. The coffee shop was very clean and had a really good feel to it. I definitely would come back to try more menu options. Again the staff was super sweet and amazing!!!! Job well done!!

Very spacious, friendly staff, large menu(love the refreshers!). Convenient, late(r) hours for a coffee shop to do reading/work. The music can be a bit louder than I prefer when doing deep work/reading, however can be compensated by spacious area/comfortable seating. Staff was friendly and provided a small discount for hospital employees.

Upside Brew has a modern and welcoming ambience with a wide range of coffee and pastries to choose from. We found their lattes and avocado toast to be quite decent. The spacious seating here also makes for a great spot for studying and laptop work.

I grabbed a coffee and bagel sandwich with an old high school friend visiting Cincinnati. The place was packed with UC students working on assignments but we were able to find a table and have a good conversation. The coffee was perfect and the bagel sandwich was soft and flavorful. The service was timely and friendly. I liked the vibe here and will be back.

I stopped into The Upside last week for a coffee and time writing. I enjoyed a raspberry white mocha, and it was fantastic!

The coffee is fresh, the vibes are chill. It’s a great spot to have some coffee and study, write, or generally chill for a while. I’d hazard a guess and say this is a hang for much of the UC community. Definitely wish a spot like this was here when I attended UC.
