I love to eat at The Toasted Owl each time I visit my daughter at NAU in Flagstaff. I am starting a collection of glass owl jars 🦉 If you love the vintage items around the restaurant - they're all for sale! Expect a wait, it's a popular place for breakfast for trues. But it's totally worth the wait! We generally order breakfast food, but the lunch is great too. The wait staff is so friendly and make you feel like part of the family.

I came to this place and was amazed by all the owls designs and beautiful antiques which are for sale! I tried the breakfast burrito, apologies I didn’t get photos of the food it looked so good, I just dug in, amazing staff even if one member had to step out another made sure to cover there table until they came back, which showed they had amazing communication and worked great together! They made sure to check on us the perfect amount of time.

I came on a Saturday, late morning driving in from Kayenta, Az. I was greeted by 2 young ladies, very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. The wait was long, probably almost an hour. We got our seat outside & the restaurant is pet friendly in the patio seating area. As I sat down, I noticed these little hooks around the perimeter of the fence for your dogs, which is very thoughtful and clever. Our waitress was very kind, so customer service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! My friend ordered the breakfast tacos, they were good, I ordered some kind of breakfast combo, also very good. It also took a looong time for our food to come out, (and the iced coffee was NOT good) which is the reason for -1 ⭐️. Only because others that were seated after us got their food before us, what’s nice is that the waitress didn’t give me a chance to ask about the wait for the food, she acknowledged it and let us know she’s asking the kitchen about it. Overall, a good experience. I would go back if I was ever in the area again. They also sell everything, I got my not so yummy iced coffee in the cactus mason jar. I should’ve just bought the mason jar without the IC. Oh yeah, they got a separate plant based menu as well.

We were a party of 8 and were told we had a 45 min wait. After several check-ins w/the hostess, we were finally seated 75 mins later. The hostess was nice and our waiter was really good, too. The food was okay nothing amazing or unique. Coffee was good. Ome thing that was disappointing was having to pay $3.50 to swap my toast for 1 pancake. The pancake was so mid not worth the extra upcharge. This was a one and done.

A whole vibe. The whole place is adorable. My waitress was absolutely a dream. The cafe was uplifting and chill. Lots of owl stuff for sale, I love it so much I bought a shirt.

Best vegan breakfast & lunch place in the USA. I been vegan since 1978.

Their menu is full of great dishes. Vegan beet burger was out of this world. To phase an Eric Burdon & the Animals...San Francisan Nights. "Not for the sake of this song, but

Cannot overstate how much we loved this establishment. The deco was lovely and created a comfy / airy place to dine in, while we were passing through town. The server was very good at explaining the menu and the vegan options. The beet salad was incredibly delicious, as was the burrito. Yum. Love how they have specials nearly every day of the week; really makes one come back for more!!

We had a decent time at the Toasted Owl. It has a cool concept of having all the antiques in the restaurant for sale. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was okay. My partner liked his breakfast sandwich. My scramble was fine but not very flavorful. The potatoes were hard. The coffee was good. The almond flour pancake was fine. The table we sat at made it difficult to enjoy the meal because it was a bulky metal garden type table which had very little room for our legs underneath. It was overall a good experience with some minor downsides.
