Bunk beds stacked 3 up, maybe 21 in a room, coed. Can get sleep-noisy: rustling noises every time someone shifts in bed =restless sleep.
Lights out between 10p and 7a. Free morning coffee. Large lockers, bring your own lock. Often not enough parking spaces.
Nothing special about the pools: sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, soaking pool, cold plunge. But super friendly and efficient staff.

Holy moly, guacamole, I didn't know a bunk room experience could be this great. The hostel is in perfect condition, the staff was friendly, and the beds are comfy and clean. Access to a hot and cold tub, sauna, and sanctuary/yoga room isn't even something I know I could expect from a hostel, but they were such welcome added perks. I didn't use the gymnasium or library, but I would if I stayed here again. Do yourself a favor and stay here at least just a night, even if you're only driving through.

At Society, I stayed in bunks for two nights, a lovely throwback to my childhood. The hotel is elegant without being snobby, friendly without going over the top. Highly recommended.
