Every encounter with Sea Pines staff was positive and genuinely friendly. The villa was impeccable and exceeded any expectations! The view of Harbour Town Links remains in my mind as a favorite memory while sitting on my patio. The setting was quiet, perfect, and picturesque. The grounds around the entire resort are well-kept and thoughtfully-designed. The facilities and amenities are unmatched and I believe there is nothing that comes close.

We came in a sprinter van and the resort has some rule about letting in RVs and even though our van is not an RV,the guy at the gate wouldn’t let our van in and we had to walk everywhere. The villas are at least 50 years old and lot of things are not working. The staff at the golf course act like they are doing us a favor. The weather was nice and the golf courses are decent. Overall whistling straits and pinehurst is a much better experience. I was here a few years ago and this was a much better place then

Very nice time of year to relax and enjoy the outdoors without the summer crowds. Originally booked for the HHI Marathon (which was cancelled), so we made it a nice weekend vacation. Beautiful beach walks, wonderful brunches & dinners, and scenic bike rides

*Beware* gate attendees ripping off customers
You might want to video your entry to Sea Pines.
1. Cost to enter for a week is $30 for a 2 axle vehicle. At the gate staff member L Lemons stated it was $40 if we were not staying in Sea Pines and $30 if we were staying in Sea Pines. I showed her the info on my phone showing $30 and she re-confirmed it was $40, so we paid the $40 and drove in. I also asked her for a receipt and she stated the passcard is the receipt but the passcard showed $30 (see pic below).
2. I realized we were ripped for for $10. They only take cash at the gate!
3. We then wrote to the security email to advise of what occurred and they said they pulled the video, denied things happened this way and L Lemon gave us $10 back, which she did not. I asked to show us the video and they would not.
6. I escalated further and got a call from Joe Count, the Director of Security who corroborated what his staff advised. I asked to see the video and he said he had no time to show me the video. He became terse and a bit of a bully, even though I remained calm. NOT PROFESSIONAL! So basically, there is a grift going on at the gate and unless you video and get your own proof you are SOL. Or if you encounter this, do not pay and go into the office and get the name of the person or video them while they are in process with the grift.
7. I have now written to Dave Ellis, Chair of Sea Pines Community Service Association, (CSA) to request full transparency (show us the video because we are not wrong) and to look into the matter.
8 It is my belief they will cover it up at our expense.
9. I told Joe Count I asked for a receipt and asked if he heard that on the video. I would have paid by credit card then but they only take cash. He stated I can pay by credit card but that is not showing in the FAQs. What a ridiculous way to manage this association and in 2025 nonetheless. How many years have tourists come down here. So, buyer beware and protect yourselves. I know it's $10 but I stand on principle and integrity which they don't appear to have any. Video your entry to the park.
10. Make sure you read the FAQs because you can get reimbursement from the restaurants there for the parking pass if you dine in there. Something they don't make tourists aware of very well -- convenient for them!
11. I hope my review helps someone else and they get caught in their own game. This experience was disgusting.

Wonderful place to stay for a weekend of golfing - courses were beautiful, rooms were luxurious and the staff were all super friendly.

I was motivated to write this review due to the efforts on one member of the staff in particular, Philip B. He was amazing to work with, scheduled all of our events in advance, provided a full overview of activities at the resort and went above and beyond to correct an error in my booking - cause my miscommunication - refunding everything and remedying the situation in less than a couple of hours. Really amazing to work with - Sea Pines resort management is lucky to have a man like this working for them.

Sea Pines has been a consistent vacation destination for our family for over 30 years. The service, quality and overall experience has earned our repeat business. I always recommend this resort to friends and family. We always feel refreshed and recharged and a little sad when we leave.

This was our second stay in Sea Pines in 2024. We experienced nothing but top notch customer service from everyone we interacted with. For our most recent visit for our 50th Wedding Anniversary, it started with Cindy Tuttle, Sr. Vacation Specialist, who made some great suggestions on properties to consider. Then it was Taylor Dubuque, Reservation Sales Agent, who patiently answered my additional questions and sent us all the confirmation emails and information. From the young man who greeted us on arrival to the friendly smile on our checkout (when we didn’t want to go!) it is clear all these people enjoy where they work. And it is reflected in how they, in turn, treat their customers. Keep it up Sea Pines staff - it doesn’t go unnoticed!

We spent a week at the Hilton Head yacht club. The layout was thoughtfully done and the perimeter of the harbour is lined with walkways, shops, restaurants and entertainment. A quiet little getaway with an ample amount of amenities.
