The Silvies Valley Ranch was absolutely beautiful with amazing accommodations, the most luxurious sheets and bedding and the nicest people. However, the cost of the activities did not match the experience. It was quite overpriced for what we received. If you go, make sure you check the prices AHEAD OF TIME of everything you sign up for so you won't be shocked at the end of your visit. It is a no cash/credit experience so you don't pay for anything until the end.

This ranch is magic. The xc trails remind me of skiing in Norway. The accommodations are top notch and the dining options are delicious. Loved the spa experiences too. The staff is friendly and welcoming. A true gem in rural Oregon. Can’t wait for another visit.

We had THE best time at Silvies this past weekend. From their friendly staff, delicious meals, amenities and more, everything was flawless -- which led to one of the best experiences that we have ever had at a resort like this.

This is a must-stay or stop-off between Bend & Boise. We'd highly recommend this to friends and family.

I went to check out their nordic ski trails. I love skiing in Sun Valley and the Methow, but they are 8 hours away. I love the idea of having a place within 3 hours of Bend that I could go to for just a weekend get away. The Retreat is really nice. The service was super friendly and helpful, and Juan, the chef, is amazing. You won't go hungry out at Silvies Ranch. They are just starting to figure out the skiing side of things, but there is a lot of potential. The trails gently roll through the hills and sage brush offering great views. The classic skiing is great. The back country skiing would also be awesome (not Alpine Touring).Once they can widen the trails a little bit and flatten the track, the skating will be great too. I would go back in a heartbeat....

My daughter and I headed to Silvies Retreat for an adventure and a break from the routine. Each and every staff member we interacted with was there to help make our stay more enjoyable. We went riding, shooting, fishing, and touring. Each activity was well organized and fun. Jeff was especially great with historical facts and information about the history of the area. April in the dining room was a joy to meet. The meals were (too) plentiful. It was absolutely necessary to save room for the delicious desserts each night. All in all we left there filled with gratitude for the great time we had away to reset for home. The memories made will be with us forever. Thank you Silvies!!

Silvie's is a special place! The staff feels like a family, the food is excellent, the rooms are beautiful, and the nordic ski trails are top-notch. Silvie's is a great spot for a memorable weekend getaway.

Eastern Oregon offers a truly wild, one-of-a-kind experience, and Silvies Valley Ranch captures it all. From vast sagebrush ranges with elk and antelope to the peace of the high desert, this place is a hidden gem. The ranch itself is stunning, offering luxury accommodations in a working cattle ranch environment, with endless activities—spa treatments, golf (with goat caddies!), shooting ranges, carriage rides, hiking, and XC skiing.

The journey to the ranch is beautiful and refreshing, passing through valleys and open ranges where we spotted elk and coyotes. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly, assigned golf carts (a hit with my teenager), and driven to our luxury cabin. The accommodations were world-class, with cozy details, a fireplace, antler chandeliers, and views of a serene lake. Every room has its own rainwater shower and TV in the bathroom—talk about luxury!

We were treated to a custom whiskey tasting, followed by a tour of the expansive Rocking Heart Spa, which is a peaceful retreat in its own right. The spa's ambiance and range of treatments left me feeling rejuvenated.

Meals were unforgettable—starting with a BBQ buffet, followed by s’mores by the firepit. Breakfast was equally indulgent, with a dessert section and delicious locally sourced goat meat (Chevon), which was a revelation!

The next day, we had a blast at the shooting ranges, with safety and fun top of mind, even for my 15-year-old. After mastering rifles, handguns, and even a Gatling gun, we enjoyed a carriage ride with Budweiser Clydesdales and saw antelope grazing on the golf courses. The views were spectacular, and a visit to a 16,000-year-old rock shelter added an unexpected historical touch.

Dinner was a five-course affair that included Chevon again, paired with a hearty carrot-ginger soup to warm us up after a cold desert night.

The next morning, we browsed the local gift shop and left with souvenirs to remember our incredible stay. Silvies Valley Ranch is the perfect blend of peace, adventure, luxury, and down-home spirit.

This is an amazing get away. If there was a rating above five stars it would get it. The staff is awesome and the whole place is just beautiful. Jeff is the absolute best tour host and is a wealth of stories and history. Patrick was there for us at every turn and made the trip packed with memories. Thankyou to everyone that works there for a great weekend of fun and food.
