At the American Airlines gate here in Phoenix for an early morning flight departure, and grabbed an iced coffee at Refuge by the B9
gate.
The guy who waited on me had the best personality and customer service I’ve experienced, the iced coffee is delicious and doesn’t feel burnt like other coffee chains do. What a great morning this is to have such friendly customer service.
I’m sold on this place and very impressed with reading their website.

I ordered an iced brown sugar vanilla shaken espresso sub white mocha for vanilla. The guy at the register was awesome. Super friendly. He said no problem and accommodated the request and gave me the receipt that was very clear and all was great… until the barista called me over very confused about subbing out the vanilla for wm. The attitude that came with it was terrible. She said she couldn’t do it and gave me a drink I didn’t order but paid for. I didn’t appreciate the attitude that was served with our coffee. She was so rude and acted like my order didn’t make any sense and it was a huge inconvenience to her. 2 coffees and a breakfast sandwich was $29 plus the tip I gave when ordering.

Had a wonderful breakfast here. The cashier was incredibly friendly and sincere, making everyone feel at home. This location opened at 5:30 am on the Saturday that I was in Terminal 4. It is located near Gate B9. I got the Ultimate Breakfast Panini with a Late and it was delicious. Best part, there are charging stations in the seating area.
