Great location for the Ouachita Challenge. 13 of us stayed in the house and it was perfect with lots of beds and lots of bathrooms! Joanna, the host, was amazing to work with and accommodated all of our requests! We will definitely be back!!

I was in town this weekend with a large group for the Ouachita challenge bike race and this place was ideal. Plenty of room, Great facilities and just a completely relaxed atmosphere and an excellent value for a large group to use as a home base for this event. This will be the first place I look next time I'm in the area. Thank you!

A big group of us were in town for the Ouchita Challenge mountain bike race and had a great time at the house. Was perfect for our group of 9 and Joanna was very responsive and helpful. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and the WiFi was a plus.

Our first time in Arkansas became memorable. We drove from Texas. All 5 families enjoyed our stay. Clean and organized. Kitchen and all parts of the house are very useful.

I loved my time at Edendell! I visited with my sister, brother-in-law and nieces and nephews. We felt so welcomed and taken care of. The whole property is beautiful and I would have loved to spend a whole week there. There wouldn't ever be time enough to read all the great books that are available. There were books and unique decor in every room. A perfect place to retreat and relax away from the business of life.

Wouldn't have guessed that we were coming on such a place on our drive until we rounded the corner and - there it was! A gem in the little town (not even sure if a place as small as Oden would be considered a town 🙂 of Oden. The drive was beautiful, my first time through Arkansas as we travelled up from Texas. The house may not look big from the outside, but they sure packed a lot in there. So many beds, lovely living room, a full bathroom plus 3 separate toilets and showers. Really setup well for a couple families - or more. The decorations are so cool. And I love having a small library of books. With the comfyness of the living room, I just wanted to grab The Chronicles of Narnia, make myself a cup of coffee, and read for a while. Course, with the Ouachita river close by, their own pond onsite, and lovely paths to walk on, one may not be able to sit still long. And even though Oden may not be a big place, they have a nice little general store that has some great food and Dollar General only about 5 minutes down the road if you'd like to stock up on food to cook up something yourself.
As nice as the place is, it's made even better by the hosts. Wonderful family and a real treat to be around. With 11 children in their own family, our 4 children always had someone to play with, and time with them just made the stay a place that we didn't want to leave. Very blessed to have gone and would love to go back to again someday.

I loved my one night stay in Edendell! It felt like being at home in the beautiful wilderness. As the sun rose, the view was like the Smoky Mountains with the mist glimmering in the morning rays. I cannot wait to go back for a longer stay and to explore more of the Quachita National Forest!
