We had a stay of just one night as part of a journey from Seattle to San Francisco. As soon as we arrived in our room I realised we should have stayed at least a couple of days. Sitting on the back porch enjoying the view of the golf course and surrounding trees, walking up to the lake, and enjoying a comfortable night's sleep in a type of bed we'd never seen in real life (where the bed folds down from the wall) were all great. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and even had a washer and dryer. I loved the huge shower. Everything was really clean. We enjoyed a really good breakfast at the on-site village. The people welcoming us for check in and check out were very nice and friendly. It's a shame we didn't have time to use the complimentary bike hire, or the swimming pool and hot tub. I would have happily spent a week here, especially as there's plenty of interesting things to see in the local area.

We had a great experience at the Pines! Our room was wonderful, right on the 8th tee of The Meadows course, and we enjoyed our walks and bike ride around the property on the free bicycles. We are planning ro make this an annual trip.

This is a great place for biking with many miles of bike paths. It is also great for hiking/walking. The village is about a quarter of a mile away and has multiple restaurants. There is a small grocery store , Country Store, which has a variety of items although like other small groceries the price is higher than the grocery chains. The pines has full kitchens so a grocery store nearby is handy. There is a clubhouse with an exercise room. There are also planned activities such as breakfasts and childrenโ€™s activities. The pool is heated and there is a hot tub. There is also a little playground for small children. The staff is all friendly and helpful. There is also a nature center which is great for children and a planetarium which is open once a week if it is not cloudy. There is shopping in Bend and hiking nearby in LaPine with a lake and waterfall. The staff can give suggestions.

We've been to Sunriver many, many times and always rented a home or condo, or stayed at the Resort. The Pines is a special secret I'd never heard of, but will now use it every time. The loft rooms are upstairs and have balconies with views, a FULL kitchen and washer/dryer, and a spiral staircase up to a bedroom/bathroom loft. This place has a complete clubhouse with two floors of stuff for families and kids, and a huge outdoor pool and gorgeous big spa with probably fifty lounge chairs and tables in a gated area. Absolutely a great family place. Two free bikes for each room and miles of bike trails in Sunriver. Close to the Village and grocery store.

This was a fantastic place to stay and the staff was so friendly. We got there and were welcomed and treated very nice. The Pines had a calendar stating cinnamon roles, pie, and bingo in the clubhouse.

We went there and Connie was so nice and friendly. My wife went back to get two pieces of pie and left money in the tip jar. At checkout, we were asked if we wanted to charge the pie at $7.00 on our credit card. I was shocked as it was not on the calendar as a cost, not anywhere at the clubhouse as a cost, or communicated at the time or anywhere at the clubhouse. It is not the $7.00, but really was the uncomfortable surprise at checkout being asked if we wanted to charge the two pieces of pie to our credit card. Unbelievable. Besides this weird interaction, our stay and the facility was awesome.

Vey odd having something appear as a benefit of the stay and then being surprised at checkout. If they are going to charge for something it should be communicated. Again, every thing else was wonderful, but left a weird taste (literally not the pie) in our mouth with the surprise at checkout.

We have stayed here several times. Room was clean, check in was fast. Clubhouse was closed for some remodeling. โ˜น๏ธ

We've been going to The Pines for almost 40 years, and it's our favorite resort. Hilton or Hyatt it is not, no chrome and glitter. Timber and stone set in the pine forest of eastern Oregon, The place is rustic, homey, peaceful, beautiful.| Sunriver is a community of resorts a little south of Bend, Oregon. All around the resort are the volcanic highlands. Cinder cones, lava flows, Lava tube caves, lots to explore. 25 minutes away is Mt Bachelor with America's only year -around ski area.| But the real star is the resort, a relaxing getaway in an awesome setting.
