Been a while since we ate at the Pelican Reef. Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had the stuffed jalapeno peppers, they were the highlight of the meal, well definitely order them again the next time we there. I had a shrimp shrimp poor boy, it tasted ok with about 8 shrimp and bread was warm and soft and toasted. Wife had the fried grouper, she said it was good. She said she would order it again. Nice atmosphere good view of the water. Waitress could have been a little more attentive never got a refill on my drink. Price wasn't bad.

Inside smelled like smoke. Think it was coming from the bar. Great views. Service was just ok. We had a big party but they managed it well. Burger and fried shrimp were great. Do not recommend the coleslaw something off with the consistency. It was slimy. House salad was tiny- like child size.

During our trip to the area, we visited the Pelican Reef three times. Their Bushwacker drink is fantastic. We had oysters on the half shell, seafood gumbo, stuffed jalapeño deep fried, and other appetizers. Their food is excellent and the prices are good. When in the area we will go back.

I have lived in Mobile for years and have passed this restaurant many many times on The way to the island. Today we stopped and it was NOT a disappointment. The server Jess was totally awesome and the food was AMAZING. We have a large family and they was able to accommodate all 9 of us. The portions was plentiful and tasted great. We will definitely be back!

Very good, recommend grouper fried or grilled. Reasonable prices & enjoy dinner overlooking Fowl river and marina. Staff is very friendly! Will be back again.

Food was delicious!!! My steak was cooked to perfection. Husband had the seafood platter fried, and it was very good! My children had shrimp tacos and the bacon cheeseburger, which were both very good!

First time trying this place out. We were the only one in the whole restaurant! That was awesome! We sat outside. Ordered food and some appetizers. Everything tasted great! Service was very good. Our waitress made sure we had everything. Will definitely be back once we’re in the area.
