We really enjoyed our stay here. This was a surprise for my husbands birthday and we asked some friends to join as long as they were fine sleeping in the jail cells. We all agreed it was an adventure! Such a fun night and we enjoyed dinner at Touche at Chez Francois too!

We stayed here after our dinner at Chez Francois, one of our favorite restaurants, but a bit far from home. Jailhouse was a fun and different place to stay. With its jailhouse theme and well-appointed rooms, it was more than just a place to stay.

We wanted to do something different and unique in this quaint, historical town. Marcus, the owner, converted an old jail into a small bed and breakfast. His renovation and attention to detail was fantastic. You pretty much have the whole place to yourself! Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. So fun and definitely a new experience! We will be back!!!!

This is such a beautiful place to stay. Having actual jail cells as rooms is so unique. I went just on a mom's small get away but definitely will return for a date night away.

Very unique and fun place in Vermillion for an overnight get away. Walking distance to Chez Francois and all the other cute shops and restaurants in Vermillion. Would also be a memorable and fun place to stay with a family. 2 bedrooms are in old jail cells. Markos is a great host and has done a fantastic job with Greek decorating, beautiful murals and stained glass throughout. Our stay was very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here, 5 days after we got married. It was very clean, owners were hospitable and friendly, It was located in town, next to a very active railroad track. Don't let this interfere with your thoughts of staying here as it did not affect our stay at all, and you couldn't hear the trains when inside the building. The shower, was amazing. (After we figured out how the multiple knobs and functions worked, even with the posted directions. 🙃)

Awesome spot in downtown vermilion.

Wife and I had a night away and finally had a chance to stay here.

Owners are super. Great communicators and accommodating.

Best part is the shower. Unbelievable.

Really unique place! Design is great and the room was very comfortable, clean, and private. Shower was awesome. Lots of extra amenities available. Tons of great restaurants and shops nearby and very close walking distance to Lake Erie. I loved it!!
