Anita and Alvin are two amazing and wonderful hosts. They are always super pleasant to talk to and make the breakfasts all the more enjoyable with their conversations. The breakfasts are made to order so they are always hot and taste delicious! The B&B is beautiful and so full of history. And yes, the place is haunted but in a kind and peaceful way. Thank you Alvin and Anita for your time, energy and graciousness!

Due to the fact that I make frequent trips to the Watonga area, I love to stay at the Noble house bed-and-breakfast. They have always been Very accommodating and friendly. The Woodruffs are an amazing couple, who I would definitely recommend staying at any of their properties in Watonga.

We prowled around north central Oklahoma on the Harley in mid July 2024. We decided on a B&B rather than a chain motel in a larger city. We are so glad we did! Noble House B&B was a pleasant surprise. Clean and cozy. The room exactly as pictured and described. A/C worked great and ceiling fan was a bonus. Parking is paved and there are off street spaces beside the building. We like to keep an eye on the Harley and parked directly under our room. Our Host the Woodruffs were kind and courteous and accommodating and best of all - not inclined to be intrusive. If you have a question about it - just call or email - they are prompt to get back to you. The made to order breakfast was served up hot, plentiful and delicious.
That said, Watonga Ok is a sleepy little town, very quiet. Lots of history. A Mexican restaurant is just a stroll around the corner. One of the truck stops has convenience store food and the grocery store a few blocks away has everything you need - not a bad idea since the common area upstairs has a fridge and microwave and tables for dining. There are plenty of restaurants in nearby Kingfisher, Clinton and Weatherford.
We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony every evening.
Noble House is everything we look for in a small-town get-away. It would be a great place for a retreat and is well appointed with tables and chairs upstairs and down - especially a writer's retreat or perhaps a Christian study retreat or hey just a nice place to catch your breath.
If inclined to roam, there's a state park, a few historical attractions, museums and route 66 fun nearby.
We give Noble House B&B five stars which means when we travel that way again - we'll be calling the Woodruffs.

Noble House became my home away from home when I stopped recently in Watonga, Okla. Hosts Anita and Alvin maintain this authentic historic landmark with the professionalism of longtime hoteliers and the genuine hospitality usually found only in a fond neighbor. Whether you are keen to find a tranquil respite for a weekend recharge or are looking for friendly shelter while retracing Route 66, the road-weary traveler won't find a finer place to stay in this part of the world.

We stayed from 12/22/22 and checked out on 12/26/22. Anita and Alvin are simply the best. We honestly had the entire place to ourselves 😁 Fantastic old building with lots of history. Amazing breakfast every morning. I've got a feeling this is going to be our "go to" location for the holidays.....every year🙂

I had to do business in rural Oklahoma, and this was the most interesting (and safe-looking) hotel option I could find in 1 hour vicinity. It is set up much like AirBNB in that you pay and then are given an access code and room key. ||||To my knowledge, I was the only guest that night, which frankly was a bit frightening because it is in the middle of an old town square. When I mentioned this to the owner, she was so kind and offered to have her daughter stay on the property to make me feel more secure. ||||Frankly, there is not too much in Watonga, unless you count the casino (which I didn't visit). This building is neat and clean and houses a really quaint restaurant that is open to the public on the weekends. When you rent a room, you receive a home-cooked breakfast the next morning which is cooked at the time you request. ||||I was in the #1 room which had a king-sized bed and a wonderful claw-toothed tub. The tub alone was worth the rental. There is great Direct TV service and the wifi is quick...that was surprising.||||The next morning I really enjoyed a hot, home-cooked breakfast with good strong coffee. This is such a great change from the usual fare at hotel chains.||||Overall, I was very happy with my visit at Noble House. The only thing to consider: if you have any mobility issues, there is no elevator at the property and there are stairs to traverse to get to your room. Just think if it like renting in Europe!
