I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Manor. I had the top floor apartment -which really spacious, stylish and comfortable and had the added benefit of a jacuzzi to soak in after a long day at work! Rachel had thought of everything: from a well stocked snack basket to a hot towel machine. She communicated immediately with me whenever I had a question. I went to Norman for work but left feeling that I had been on a retreat because of the love and care Rachel put into the Manor. I hope I can go back sometime. Absolutely fantastic place to stay!

Our overnight stay from Dallas while visiting OU with our son was great! My husband and I had an incredibly comfortable bed in our room and my son slept on the sleeper sofa in the den. It was nice having a mini fridge and a coffee bar stocked with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Rachel made a delicious breakfast for us the next morning of eggs, bacon, biscuits and yogurt with fruit and granola before we left to tour the school. The Manor is very convenient to the Campus Corner restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay again if he chooses to attend OU.

The Manor hostess, Rachel, contacted us on the morning of our arrival to confirm the reservation and our planned arrival time so she could be on site to greet us. She was very accommodating as to answering all our questions and fulfilling all our needs. The house and surrounding grounds were very well maintained. The upstairs suite was spacious for the 3 of us, and we enjoyed the games and snacks that were available. We were very pleased to be served a hot breakfast by Rachel who also took the time to engage us in conversation. Definitely recommend this B&B as it is also very close to the OU campus and there are sidewalks for walking.

I recently stayed at The Manor Bed and Breakfast, expecting a cozy and luxurious experience. Unfortunately, the reality did not meet my expectations.

Despite informing the staff about my dietary restrictions, the breakfast options were far from satisfactory. I was served a subpar continental breakfast consisting of cheap, pre-packaged pastries. The one hot item offered was the very food item I had specified I couldn't eat. When I inquired about alternative hot breakfast options, the response was delayed and unaccommodating.

The website led us to believe that we would have access to a range of amenities, including a private balcony and a Jacuzzi bath. However, these amenities were only available in the upstairs room, a fact not clarified on the website. We ended up in the downstairs room, which lacked these features, leading to further disappointment.

When we expressed our concerns and kindly requested a discount for our stay, our request was ignored. The full amount was charged to the credit card we were required to put on file, with no attempt made to resolve the issues we raised.

While the location is convenient, and the property has potential, the lack of clear communication and failure to meet basic expectations have left us dissatisfied. I would recommend potential guests to double-check all details and perhaps look elsewhere for a more transparent and fulfilling experience.

We visited The Manor for the Ohio State vs OU football game. We were blown away by our experience in Homer. John & Rachel are the nicest people you will ever meet and run a top notch B&B. The ambiance and dΓ©cor were so sweet and made us feel right at home. Rachel cooked us a nice breakfast each morning. There was a keypad lock on our door for privacy and convenience. The family hosted a nice tailgate party the day of the game and we felt like a part of the family. The location is within walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants, as well as the football stadium. The family no longer lives on the property, but do spend a lot of time there, especially during football season. They built themselves a small bedroom w/ bath off the kitchen for their family and personal guests.Five star weekend!

We were flying cross country and Oklahoma was deemed to be our halfway point for an overnight. We travel with two small, well behaved dogs and were dismayed to find a dearth of pet friendly Bed and Breakfasts in OK! We searched OK City, Tulsa, and several other towns with no luck. My husband recommended I look at Norman; I’m so glad he did! We were a late arrival, but had no trouble with self check in and Rachel was wonderfully responsive when I contacted her. We thoroughly enjoyed both the layout and decor of the suite (even though we aren’t Sooners πŸ˜‰). The bed was comfortable, the water pressure strong, and the towels fluffy. Above it all, the breakfast was delicious and held us all the way the Gallup, NM. Norman, OK and more specifically, the Manor are going to be our go-to stop over from now on!

We stayed 3 nights while visiting our OU son for Thanksgiving & celebrating his birthday. Rachel & John are super proprietors! Rachel's breakfast's are colorful & delicious! The excellent accommodations include: private (balcony) entrance with private deck, on property parking, within walking distance to OU campus, OU decor, scents, soaps, lotion, sweet/salty treats, refrigerator, coffee, pop, bottled water, nice sitting area, table, 2 TV's, VERY comfortable bed, the list goes on! The Christmas tree/decorations added pleasure! I stayed here several months ago upon short notice when OU son had emergency surgery. We'll be back! You would love this B&B!||

We were blown away at how nice the Manor B&B was designed. The owners definitely knew what they were doing. The breakfast was great, the Innkeeper was extremely friendly, and the home itself was very nice. This wasn't your average old dank B&B. You have your own A/C control, a nice comfortable Queen Size Bed, 2 satellite TV's - one with a DVD player and at least 70 movies on DVD to choose from. There is only 1 guest room, and since the owners live off property, you have the entire house to yourself. Our only issue was that we couldn't figure out how to turn on the jacuzzi jets in the tub. We emailed the host, but she was catering a brunch and it was the very end of our trip (we were leaving in an hour) so we didn't really expect a quick response. Overall, we loved the place - a reasonable price for the place - especially with the prime location just a few blocks off the campus corner.
