It's an okay place.

Went a Friday evening, parking lot was very full so plan ahead for parking.
Greeted upon entry & got seated right away (hand reservation).

Sever was great even if it was busy. He was attentive and helpful.

Ordered: blackberry old fashioned, wedge salad, ribeye (med rare), asparagus, mac & cheese and loaded baked potato.

Overall wait time, not horrible.

Wedge salad was delectable and would definitely recommend along with the blackberry old fashioned. Asparagus was okay very garlicky but not complaining.

Ribeye cooked perfectly. However, was super salty to the point it was almost inedible. Mac & cheese, the taste was great except the pasta wasn't cooked fully and were more than al dente (even after it was baked). The loaded potato was orginally forgotten but I got one several minutes later. It was good, it was over cooked and dry and under seasoned.
Overall it was just an okay dinner.

My wife and I were in Savannah on vacation, looking for a steakhouse nearby. We saw online The Local on 17, and it delivered. The Porterhouse and NY Strip were absolutely massive. As someone who regularly works out and is constantly hungry, I was surprised at just how filling this was. The 30 minute drive from Savannah shouldn’t stop you, this is worth the drive. Our server, Taylor, made sure our evening was equally pleasant. Would visit again!

The best steak I have had since I grilled my own last summer! It was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning! Very chill enviroment. My waiter was patient and attentive. There's no negative feedback from this happy camper! Highly recommend!

First time dining at this restaurant. I must say I will be back soon. I had the Filet mignon cooked medium well with whipped potatoes and green beans. My wife had the stuffed Salmon with a salad. We also had the fried deviled eggs for appetizer. Everything was delicious, you won’t be disappointed!

The Local as always gets 5 stars! I have never had a less than 5 star dining experience here over the years. Last night deserved 10 stars! My friend and I came to dine last night and our server, Brandon was just simply amazing! This made the experience even better!

Food was amazing, at first look it seemed a bit pricey but after getting to experience the absolutely stunning flavors and most tender steak i have ever had it was well worth the money spent. Best dry aged meat I have had, service was wonderful, the server knew all the special off the top of his head and was even knowledgeable on the dry-age process and time the dry aged the meats. 100% will visit again and send others.

Wow! Great reco from the Holiday Inn Express! Lylah was our server - she was fabulous. Knowledgeable and so personable! We started with the steak rolls - DELICIOUS! I had the filet with potatoes and green beans - excellent. hubby had the steak tips and mushrooms over mashed potatoes with a side salad
Great atmosphere. Cozy booth. Nice way to end a long day of traveling. So glad we stopped here

👋🏽 Heyyy Foodies so had the opportunity to go to The Local and it was great overall!! The Fried deviled eggs are as good as those who rave over them. Steak seasoned to perfection cooked as requested. Portions were healthy. The Ilene plate was a little light on the sides. Roasted chicken was bigger than expected. They don’t sell lemonade so no Arnold Palmer unless you make your own with lemons, which turned out really good!! Surprise to know it was veteran owned but no military discount 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️I still give this place a 5⭐️ because the service and food were fantastic. Their crème brûlée definitely in my top 5! The ambiance gives a rustic saloon feel and also a little live music when you walk in to a nice sound of country. We had a large group so tip was automatic. Forrest and Kaley waited on us and were great!!
