This resort is CLEAN and comfortable! It is less than a half mile down to the swimming area on the lake. The pool is nice. Owner is extremely helpful and accommodating. The kitchens and grills are super convenient if you don't want to spend half your vacation budget eating out. Did I mention how clean this place was? VERY impressed!

We stayed here for a family vacation, it is a cute L-shaped little motel, looks like to be from the 50's. It's very close to Lakeview Cove Marina and a Lakeview Cove campground, near Bull Shoals Lake. Cool so far. The motel is very run down. I think our mattresses and bedding was original from the 50's. The owner Richard is a little creepy. The small pool looks ok except we were pretty sure the owner Richard of the motel bathes in it daily. We could hear him moaning each morning as he stepped into the cold pool water. Made us really not want to use it. Good thing we were spending all of our time on the Lake, we were only using the motel as a place to cook dinner and sleep at night. The lake is great, the Marina is great, next time I'll take my camper and stay in the Lakeview Campground.

We stayed at The Last Resort for a 3 day weekend this month. It snowed about 4-5 inches so we got stuck there an extra night. It has been taken over by a man named Jake, who is very friendly. He has remodeled all of the rooms and it was really nice. It got cold overnight but our rooms stayed warm. It would be a great place to stay this summer since it is right by the lake. I wanted to steal the quilts he had on the beds, they were really nice. I will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I visited in April of this year. The area is clean and we enjoyed walking to the marina and enjoying the beautiful wisteria. Management was very helpful and willing to assist us with area restaurants and informing us about the area history. we went on an excursion and were thrilled to see heron and American Bald eagle nest with babies and the dad not far away being guard! The Last Resort should be the first resort for folks to visit! We look forward to our next visit there.||The last Resort 870-431-5681

Friendly management. Resort is closest to marina and corps ramp, which are probably 1/4 mile down to the lake. On an earlier visit, swimming pool was great and also available the pool has a covered patio with barbeque pits and picnic tables. (Great for gatherings, fishermen or family). You can also use BBQ pits at room door if preferable. There is electric available if you need to charge your boat at the resort. Clean rooms, friendly service and just a good family atmosphere great for fishermen, friends and all your family members. This resort is a must place to visit.

Clean, friendly, quiet and laid back. Great location. The beds were great, and there was no problem bringing our dog. The full kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking. Pool looks nice, and outdoor chairs, ashtrays and grills are readily available. Laundry room available, too. Very reasonable rates!

New owner is making good progress to clean the place up. 4 rooms complete with fresh paint, new laminate flooring, new Tvs, clean bedding and towels. |We like stayed at the Last Resort because it is close to the Corp campground and Lakeview Marina. |Will be coming back soon.

Everything about this room was filthy. Carpet filthy, AC vent/heater vent filthy (AC vent above headboard in wall), bedside table had liquids spilled on it from previous guest, bathroom floor filthy, dish drainer filthy, cobwebs under bed. Hopefully sheets had been changed but the rest of room had not been cleaned in any way. Blinds on window had gap and allowed anyone from outside to see inside room. (thought I would be able to post pictures) The pool was the only good thing about this place. The name "Last Resort" pretty much sums it up.
