We were looking for cozy, comfortable and charming on our annual pre-Christmas, long weekend getaway, and the Inn at Ormsby Hill fully met, and exceeded, our expectations. From being greeted at the door to chatting with the owners each morning at breakfast, and the friendliness of the breakfast server, we felt very welcome. The Inn's decor is lovely and charming, even more so at holiday time. Our room was clean, very comfortable and attractive, and we enjoyed getting a peek at a few of the other rooms as well. A highlight for me (as a librarian and voracious reader) was the abundance of books and reading nooks throughout. The location in Manchester was convenient for making day trips to our favorite antique malls and brewery, and spending time at the wonderful Northshire Bookstore. We always love Vermont at holiday time, and our stay at the Inn made the experience even more enjoyable. We've already booked a Valentine's weekend getaway at the Inn!

One of the best Bed and Breakfasts that we have ever stayed at. Great rooms! Wonderful Breakfast! We even added days on to our stay because we liked it so much. The owners Mary Ann, Jack and staff could not have been nicer! Can't wait to stay here again.

We had a wonderful mini-getaway at this beautiful inn.The inn has lots of nooks and crannies, be sure to explore. Our room, Anne Eliza, was charming and cozy. We loved the double sided fireplace (bedroom and bathroom). Attention to detail was there! Homemade chocolate chip cookies were left in our room each day. Coffee/tea /hot chocolate were available 24/7. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious. We loved the variety of books to browse all throughout the inn! Maryann and Jack are gracious hosts and available to help with plans and recommendations.

Our first time visiting Ormsby Inn and the experience was wonderful. The Innkeepers, Maryann and Jack and staff, Candy exudes hospitality and could not have been more accommodating, especially when a special request was made for pancakes! We stayed in the Frances room – beautifully appointed, well maintained, clean and spacious with two fireplaces and a steam shower. The dining room and common areas were cozy and inviting with several large fireplaces and reading spaces. The setting is tranquil and rich with history. Worth the visit!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at "The INN at Ormsby Hill". A very beautiful and well-maintained Inn. The owners, Jack & Maryann were very receptive to any needs and the breakfast in the mornings are very delicious. Although they do not do dinners, they will be more than happy to give great recommendations. The multiple fireplaces and many books make for a quaint and romantic getaway.,

Our stay was simply the best and a highlight of our trip to see the fall
colors. Not only was the inn lovely, but the service was excellent. Our hosts, Maryanne and Jack, made us feel like we were right at home with their warm and welcoming energy. They also provided us with amazing recommendations regarding activities and sights to be seen. Additionally, the breakfast they serve is 10/10 and I miss it to this day. Being at the inn felt like a warm hug and I cannot recommend it more!

This is a beautiful Inn with all kinds of special touches, great breakfast and lovely, on-site owners. Perfectly situated just outside of the center of town… so peaceful but close to all the action. The inside of the inn has nooks and crannies, with all of the old architecture, and modern bathrooms etc. A perfect get-a-way
