My husband and I recently stayed at the Honking Goose Inn and we both loved our time there. The owners are very sweet and kind. Our experience was very peaceful and tranquil. This was our first bed and breakfast experience and it definitely felt like home. The homecooked breakfast meals were amazing. My husband enjoyed the theater room as well as the popcorn machine. The chocolate chip cookies with walnuts that were in our room when arriving were delicious. I absolutely enjoyed the hot tub at night time too. The 2 day package was a wonderful deal and both my husband and I enjoyed our morning massages as well from the masseuse therapist. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

This was a wonderful place to disconnect and recharge. The hosts were beyond nice and even adjusted our meals to fit our diet without us even requesting it. The pine room was spacious and well appointed. Loved having the gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub all to ourselves. Definitely plan to go back and would advise any of my friends to do the same.

Important note! Your cell service maybe spotty or even nonexistent. That was a plus for us, but be aware. They do offer wifi, but its rural speeds, once again a great plus if you're looking for a comfy place to get away from it all.

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely place!!! We met another couple who was also staying. They actually only live about 20 minutes from our home. We sat and talked for a long time in the sitting room. The owner brought us in WARM cookies. They were delicious!! We stayed in the Oak Room upstairs. There was another sitting room upstairs. Our room was very nice. We spent a peaceful evening enjoying a night away from the hustle bustle of home. Breakfast the next morning was delicious!!! We will definitely be coming back!!!!!

Beautiful place the inn keeper and his wife were amazing. Wonderful atmosphere great breakfast. Loved the massage and foot detox. I stayed in the Birch Room, very nice room large bathroom nice soft big bed. Can't wait to stay again. Excellent Wi-Fi I had no cell service but that was okay. Only unpleasant time was eating at the Johnson's White Bear Inn good food but poor service will definitely skip this restaurant next time.

This place is amazing. I can not say enough good things about this place. It's quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is outstanding as are the fresh baked cookies ! The massage made me feel like a new person.
During our most recent visit here my husband became very ill and had to be transported to a local hospital via ambulance. The owners here went above and beyond to help us . They even drove our car to the hospital for us so we'd have it when he was released. I highly recommend the Honking Goose Inn !

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at The Honking Goose Inn! The beauty of the woods, the sounds from the countryside (goats, cows, owls & birds), along with the delicious breakfasts all carefully prepared for our gluten-free vegetarian diet will be cherished memories for years to come. The gracious innkeepers, Jim and Jennifer, made us feel most welcome. When goodbyes were exchanged, we found ourselves missing our new friends who were strangers just days before. What a lovely adventure!

Loved it! I found this Christian Retreat gem on Groupon and decided to spent my 1y anniversary with my husband here in the middle of August. It was secluded and def off grid due to the in and out wifi signal. Lots of green space and fresh air. The mosquitoes are unforgiving though. Our room was decent sized. Be prepared for quite a drive when looking for restaurants and places of entertainment. The hosts are great, and I enjoyed breakfast here. My massage was AH MAY ZING!! The little bridge is so serene and looks over a beautiful pond that has enormous bass (I think they were) swimming in it. It's a great spot for prayer, worship, morning meditation and devotional. I was so at peace here. I recorded the sounds just to take a little piece of this place with me. The hosts were knowledgeable about the area and we're respectful of guest privacy. I just wish there were more entertaining options on site. The booking process was simple and communication with them was a break. Checkout was a little issue due to signal loss but they were very patient and kind about it all. I'd def go back!

They have amazing breakfast here! I love the peaceful atmosphere and all the beautiful trails in the woods. The outdoor jacuzzi is perfect in chilly weather, and the hosts are very hospitable. Highly recommended!
