The Hive Social in Oregon City is a gem! I enjoyed a fantastic breakfast here, paired perfectly with their seasonal ginger eggnog drink & the OJ —it was delicious and full of holiday cheer. The server was friendly, well informed .made great cocktail suggestions and dessert.
Pork chop was very salty. I almost had to send it back, salmon slitlyover cooked . That being said. flavor excellent. Butternut squash stroganoff Brilliant. Great job, you must go.

Surprised by an added 3% charge on my check. I’ve been frequenting The Hive Social Club for breakfast for a few years now. Nothing special, but nice to have a decent place in the area. Today I was surprised to find an added fee to my check of 3% listed as a credit card fee. While I do get the need to add a small fee for a small coffee shop where the bill might only be a few dollars, how do you justify charging a 3% fee on a $40 breakfast check? I chose to not contest it. I simply paid it and won’t be back.

Food was incredible, service was good. The atmosphere was amazing.

We had the borning breakfast which we changed out the potatoes for grilled veggies ... HIGHLY RECOMEND, and we ordered the shrimp and grist

Took my husband there for his birthday. He had never been and I have been once. Our Happy Hour meals in the Hive Social’s bar looked and tasted amazing! The atmosphere and decor is just great! We then went downstairs to The Hardware Store to try some cocktails and whiskies.. what a super cool and fun spot! The staff was knowledgeable and fun and we had some yummy cocktails
and whiskies. Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I walked in the do to find a cool, hip brunch space that seems to offer quite a bit more. First, we were greeted fairly quickly by a young person that turned out to also be our server, Josh. Josh explained how the food is sourced, explained to my wife a few plates she had questions about.

We made our selections based on the information Josh provided. She got the drop biscuits and gravy with caramelized onion sauce and I ordered the brisket hash. Which as irony would serve was what we both wanted but flipped. I wanted the drop biscuits. Once I heard brisket, I immediately changed what I wanted. We also ordered the autumn roast.

The food arrived and the portions were impressive. We requested hot sauce and ketchup. Then we hardly used it. The flavor construction was so great that we didn’t really need it.

Josh is a fantastic server. The coffee was good. We didn’t care for the soda and the hot sauce was too hot for our liking. However, these two things are so small compared to our experience and the quality of everything else. We will return. We live in Central Point which is 4 hours south of Oregon City. We are already making our next plans to eat at Hive Social!

10/10 as the kids day, we’ll eat here again!

Now to land a dj gig in the speakeasy!

Went for breakfast on a Sunday and they were able to get our group of 6 in fairly quickly! Everyone at The Hive Social was helpful and attentive to the table. I appreciated the unique flavors of each dish and fresh ingredients. Some of our favorites were the Bloody Mary Benedict, Aebleskivers and Bourbon Vanilla Cream French Toast! I definitely will be back to try out the restaurant during the evening and the speakeasy.

The ambiance was amazing. I loved the whole look. The food was amazing and so was our waitress. The chilaquiles were spicy, but that's just how I like them. And the French toast...was...out of this world. My one ding to the incredible dining service was the time it took to order and then to get our food.
