I was at this place back in 2008. They picked me up from the Greyhound station for the start of my AT adventure. I stayed the night in one of the empty bunk rooms as it was February and made me breakfast in the AM. After breakfast, we rode up to the start of the trail. Phenomenal experience. I wonder if the dog, Maggie, is still kicking around the place...

This place used to be $18/night and was magical. Now it's 4x that. Really really sad to see. Everything is about squeezing every penny out of people these days
