When we first hiked up, there was a sign on the door saying that they were closed until their next delivery, which was a bummer (but considering the fact that all their supplies is delivered via mule or helicopter, it was understandable.)

Luckily, the on our second day, we heard they were open, and we B-lined it there for lunch, and we were glad we did. I don’t know if it was because we were hungry for “real” food, but it was fantastic. I had their grilled cheese sandwich with French fries, and a strawberry lemonade (with real strawberries in it) I also had some bomb fry bread with powdered sugar.

The only “complaint” is that there was only one trash can in to discard your trash, and it was so full to the point that trash was spilling into the floor. I had to leave my tray with all the paper plates on top because I had no other option.

We understand that the cafe in Supai Village is under new management. We were there April 15-17, 2024 and we were ecstatic about the delicious tortillas, fry bread and salad options they offered. Thank you to the staff for the excellent service ❤️ and to all the entire community for making our trip memorable!

The food was delicious and authentic! The popovers did not disappoint, they were loaded with all the fillings and the popover was light and crunchy. The breakfast bagel was delicious with egg and bacon very filling. By the end of the week they were out of a few items, but they were always able to substitute and make our meals delicious and filling . JC was very friendly and came around often to make sure we had everything we need, he’s a great manager !!

We camped November 24-27 and this spot was welcoming surprise. I did not expect a full menu from such a far away establishment. I had the fry bread burger and it was delicious. I highly recommend all campers and lodgers to dine here.

Breakfast sandwich and coffee were good especially after all the hiking and lack of creator comforts. Staff are a little indifferent but it's probably tourist overload... I can't say I blame them.

There were a few hundred different people who hiked up, early, on their exit day just to have breakfast before finishing the long uphill hike or taking the helicopter out. Unfortunately the owners decided not to open because (according to other tribe members) they were too hung over that day.. all of them. There was no sign they'd be closed or any indication of it. Most people waited and waited only for the doors to never open. We smelled food being cooked at one point but I guess they were feeding themselves. By 9:30ish most of the people who were relying on a meal before the 10 mile uphill hike were forced to do it hungry which is extremely dangerous in itself (especially carrying 40 pounds on their backs). It also forced us to hike when the temperatures reached nearly 100 degrees vs having left earlier to beat the heat. The people waiting on the helicopter (it's an all day wait) sat outside with no food from dawn till 4pm-ish (that's how long you'll wait for the helicopter and not many people had any food left, assuming their last meal could be a hot one before flying out).

Don't bother with the food here and do not assume or rely on it at any time. How sad is it that a "business" can operate like it's run by literal children who are too drunk and hung over to do their jobs (apparently it was ALL the staff?). How sad of an impression is that of what really amounts to the most interaction many will receive with tribal members. Never again and fair warning to anyone reading this.

Also, expect to pay an absurd amount of money for your food. I was ok with that originally but looking back the only reason it tastes good is because all of the diners have just hiked 10 miles with heavy packs. Hunger is the greatest spice could never be a truer statement. Most of the staff is very rude and seem to severely and openly dislike every camper.
