The Guesthouse is an amazing place to stay while in the Toledo/Maumee OH area. The house is so cozy and warm and has high end decor and furnishings. The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need. It felt like a stay at a relatives house rather than a hotel. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. She even makes sure your favorite foods are left in the refrigerator for breakfast the next morning. She also leaves out delicious snacks for guests to enjoy as well. I will definitely be staying there when I'm in the area.

This was our second time staying at the Guesthouse in Perrysburg - or as our teen daughter calls it, "Syd's Place." We've stayed for a weekend before, but this time we stayed 4 nightsd. This place is fantastic. We are not usually B&B type people, but we love the Guesthouse. The location is great - walking distance to bars, restaurants, shopping. We were in town for the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament and had a very easy time getting into downtown Toledo for the games. The Guesthouse itself is wonderful. We have stayed in the East part of the house both times. The decorating is wonderful, it is very clean and totally comfortable for our family of three. Syd always leaves a well-stocked fridge, and the local grocery is not far if you want to stock up on some of your favorites while you're there. We have stayed here in the summer and the gardens and back-porch are awesome. If your travels take you to Perrysburg, don't think twice about staying with Syd at the Guesthouse. Syd is a great innkeeper and now, we consider her our friend! We come to the area often to visit family and we won't stay anywhere else. If the Guesthouse isn't available, we'll change our travel plans just so we can stay there!

The Guesthouse in Perrysburg, OH is run by a harridan. Avoid Diane Rogers. She seems pleasant initially then goes into her rant about conspiracies. She accused us of being “scammers” claiming our dogs had peed in the bedrooms upstairs. She took our cash, however! She also told us we had used the two bedrooms and she claimed she had only paid for one bedroom. She then used her UV light to send us “pee spot” photos. Consequently, we reported her to the Better Business Bureau. Dreadful experience. She will try to lay blame on us by becoming a “victim”. She accused us of “sneaking” out. Amazing perception shift! Stay away.

Just got back from a wonderful trip to Jones & Jones, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet home-away-from-home in Perrysburg. The rooms are very clean and well-furnished, the deep Jacuzzi tub with it's skylight and various bath salts, and the nice selection of delicious, organic breakfast foods made our stay feel special. The owners are professional and friendly, and made sure nothing was forgotten. The guest discount at the fabulous antique store below was an added bonus. The Joneses really know how to keep a B&B! Thanks to them for a lovely stay, we'll be back!

The Guesthouse was great for our visit to Ohio to see family and friends. Lots of room for the grandchildren. ||The house is an older home that is well maintained. Large living room. 2 bedrooms and an extra room for "stuff." One full bath upstairs and a half bath down. Has a second floor deck and a large back porch off the kitchen. We spent most of our daytime hours on the porch watching the kids in the yard.||The food goes beyond excellent. Syd – the owner, had managed a restaurant and the experience was noticeable in the food provided. Quiche was available in the fridge. (350 degrees for 20 minutes) There was also plenty of artisan bread, rolls, fruit, juices, fresh eggs and English muffins. There is a Vulcan gas stove, microwave, toaster and toaster oven. Syd had the coffee ready to go each day. If you need to get a hold of her, she lives just down the street.||We plan to stay next time we visit the kids.

My wife and I stayed at the guest rooms for two nights while celebrating an anniversary. The location is wonderful....everything in the quaint community of Perrysburg is within walking distance. The antique shop alone has enough that you could spend several hours just browsing. Our hosts were very helpful sharing excellent recommendations. The lodging was quite spacious (three rooms) and comfortable. While some may not consider this to be a "bed and breakfast" due to the fact that the hosts do not serve guests in a "dining room" we really appreciated the manner in which breakfast is provided....plenty of healthy cereals, delicious baked goods, yogurt, teas and coffees and juices available in the breakfast nook. We loved not having to arise at a specific hour and to enjoy the slower pace. The only downside (and this was not a significant issue with us) is that only a bath is provided (but it is a jacuzzi tub). There is no shower....a minor matter. The only other consideration is that it is located within two blocks of the railroad tracks. The train didn't bother us.....we carry earplugs when traveling. Would we return? Yes, with no hesitation!

I'm super-fussy about cleanliness and charm -- a B&B has to be very special to impress me. The Guest Rooms at Jones & Jones was, for me, a perfect B&B. The rooms are spotless, and furnished with charming, knowledgeable taste -- elegant yet relaxing to be in. The bath has a skylight above a deep, immaculate, jacuzzi-type bathtub. And the clean bedding inspires (thank god) total confidence. The owners, the Joneses, are polite, warm, attentive and professional. They're pleasant people without being over-familiar or eccentric (always a B&B concern.) Mrs. Jones's home-baked pastries are delicious. Highly recommended!!!!!!

I am a Toledo girl who lives and resides in the UK ( 35 years+). This homeward bound visit was a year in the planning and actually we had originally booked another house, unfortunately their circumstances changed and they could not accommodate us. FORTUNATELY for us ( and they say God works in mysterious ways....) Syd stepped into the breach. Not only did she accommodate us for a month, she worked out a plan for our guests to join us for the first 10 days in the West Side of the house.||To say the experience was pleasurable is a complete understatement. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. Our first morning the hire car wouldn't start and I had to go to the local provider. Syd planned to take me but in fact her dear friend David came to our rescue! (Thank you David)! And so the hospitalitaly went on, we always knew Syd was there if we needed her but we were given our own space and she and her team were never intrusive.||We have hired houses across the globe and I have to say The Guest House is one of the best equipped I have come across.||It was what we expected...like coming home!||Thank you so much Syd, we cannot wait for our next trip 'homeward bound' and hope you and the Guest House will be a part of it.||Great big Hugs from both of us.||Andy and Maggie 15th December 2016 to 13th January 2017
