We Northerners from New England had a terrific week at the Grey Owl Inn, a most welcoming, comfortable, and convenient place to stay and enjoy the beauty, sights, restaurants, long beach walks, and many other activities on St. Simons Island. || Our stay was made all the more special by the Inn keeper's warm hospitality, including the “breakfast bag “ kindly packed for our early morning airport departure. ||We may never get over the succession of delicious breakfast choices presented every day -- omelets, giant pancakes, eggs benedict, and granola with yogurt, complemented by delicious bacon sausage, and plentiful fruit. ||It is tough going back to corn flakes and the real world!

My first time visiting St Simons Island and Grey Owl Inn made it a very nice experience. The location is great, easy to get to beaches, downtown and all within a bike ride or walking distance. Grounds were beautiful and accommodations were clean and area very quiet and secure. Thank you for a very pleasant stay, I will be back for sure!

The location is very nice and the breakfasts are excellent. Our room left a little bit to be desired. The little shampoo, conditioner and lotion bottles were from the previous guests! And the sink was very dirty like they forgot to clean it before we got there. There were no darkening shades in the room and we had a big light right outside our room. Luckily I had remembered to bring my sleep mask with me! It was like we left the light on all night long! And the bed was not very comfortable. Would be a nice place to go just for the breakfast since that was our favorite part!

Our stay at The Grey Owl Inn was excellent. We had never visited St. Simons Island before, and found The Grey Owl Inn to be very charming and comfortable. Our room, the grounds and service were spot on. The breakfast was great, and the dining area overlooked their beautiful grounds. The Inn is in a good location with close proximity to the St. Simons Lighthouse, pier, village restaurants and shopping areas. We will definitely go back and stay at The Grey Owl Inn in the future.

Stayed here a few times and all have been a great experience! Awesome location and 10 minute walk to the beach. Rooms are immaculate and probably the best breakfast of anywhere you can find in St Simons. Debi is very friendly and has such an outgoing and funny personality. Everyone feels welcome there.

We stayed there to be able to get to Glynco for a graduation and also hit the beach at St. Simons. The B&B was so quaint and eclectic. It had a warm feeling to it and Diane made the place feel really warm and friendly. Our room was clean and felt like someone's bedroom. The entire Inn was super quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was served daily, and you had a selection that allowed you to choose each day. Once you made your selection, Diane knew what you wanted and pretty much how you liked it. She was great and very personable. The best thing about it was the relaxed and unrushed feeling especially at check-out. ||We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful place. We stayed in Melody's Mooring and the room was very spacious and bright with an incredible bath room and another half bath. The grounds are immaculate and there is lots of fun reading material. Our breakfast was delicious and the inn keeper very kind. We would stay there again in a heart beat!

What a lovely place to stay! It is convenient to St Simons shopping and restaurants, but just far enough that guests at the Inn enjoy peace and quiet. Our room was thoughtfully decorated and the breakfasts were great. Our room was called Treetops and it was incredibly spacious. Our host, Debi, was welcoming and very nice.
