The Green Deli, waterbury. If your out here in waterbury you can't miss the freshest food out here. You can taste the freshness made on the spot. Hot or cold grinders, kosher foods are available. Also the service is always pleasant. They never miss a door greeting and always are in good spirits! This is the place.

Really disappointed I ordered fries and a cheese burger for my 3 year old and the fries were really burnt. How did they not notice this? I called and tried to explain how burnt the fries were and I was told they were not burnt. I asked to send a picture of the fries and the lady seem to get upset as if I was lying. I told her I will come back tomorrow for a refund she offered me fries instead asked me if I had my receipt and I told her I would find it. No accountability at all for the way this food was presented. If I had opened the food before I left to catch the bus I would have known. Now I feel as if tomorrow I'm going to have to beg to relieve my compensation when I go back. I will never eat here again.

Definitely roaches. ALL apartment buildings in Waterbury have bug infestation, 9 out of 10 restaurants suffer from cockroach infestation, especially if there's any form of living arrangement above the restaurant. The taste/tinge from the bacon egg & cheese on croissant caused me the urge to vomit violently. I swear the food tastes the way a cockroach infested building smells. Avoid avoid avoid any restraunts with housing above I've come to learn.
Customer service is ... unacceptable to say the least. Careless. If I'm paying for food I want it clean and made with love period.

Food was great for a deli set up. The place is a store front with food services. The price point it great and the Chicken Shawarma was really good. Looks like it's a family owned business. I would recommend it for a quick bite to eat.

I love the breakfast sandwiches any time my wife and I are downtown we make it a priority to stop and get a great sandwich if you have the time make sure to stop and treat yourself we have a steak egg and cheese with a hash brown on an everything bagel it's a good choice don't forget the mayo and ketchup
