This restaurant has officially convinced me that I love German food. The atmosphere is decorated with authentic German pieces, the staff are so polite and welcoming, and don’t get me started on the food! The chicken schnitzel was perfect, the currywurst was delicious, all of the potato sides are so good, and their varying cake selections for the week are just the best. I absolutely cannot wait to go back to sierra vista just to go here, and highly recommend everyone check it out!

Cozy and homey cafe that surpasses the highest expectations. The food was better than any I have had throughout major cities and small towns across Germany. This is the place to go for an authentic German dining experience. The waitstaff was warm, helpful, and provided excellent recommendations.

Great little German restaurant. Excellent schnitzel. fast and friendly service. Homey atmosphere.

I went for a late dinner and ordered the schnitzel al Holstein (not always easy to find) with spätzle, coleslaw, and a side of onion cream gravy (a must have).

The schnitzel was tender and nicely fried, the eggs were cooked perfectly sunny side up, and there were plenty of capers and anchovies.
The spätzle was perfectly prepared, firm but not rubbery. The onion cream gravy is incredible by itself, but even better over the spätzle. The coleslaw is vinegar based with chunks of bacon, very bright and nicely seasoned.

For dessert I had the vanilla rum cake. It was sweet, super moist, and had all the complex caramel notes of rum and no taste of alcohol.

The lady serving me was super friendly, very attentive, and spot on with her recommendations. Everthing came out fast.

The atmosphere is very much like a grandma’s dining room. Right down to antique dining room tables.

Absolutely charming restaurant that feels like someone's Nana opened it up, very homey and it smelled amazing as soon as I walked in. Sweet server who knew the names of the Lil old dudes who make this a second home. Amazing breaded pork schnitzel with onion cream gravy, perfect warm German potato salad, and a cucumber salad so good I wanted to spoon up the leftover dressing. The pork was tender and juicy, with a perfect crisp coating. I ate the entire plate and am looking forward to my next visit while I'm in town.

Delicious food! I ordered the zigeunerschnitzel, with the warm potato salad, cucumber salad, and a side of spätzle with the red pepper and onion gravy. Customer service was great as well!

I loved this place! Great food, everything that I tried was on point. I tried Hungarian Goulash Soup soooo DELICIOUS!! The Rum Chocolate Cake moisturized , and the Chicken Cordon Bleu very tasty!! I highly recommend this place! Im definitely comimg back!!

The grilled cheese with bacon and pickle on rye was stellar! My husband didn’t care for the gravy mostly because it had an unfamiliar tangy taste, but it is labeled as ‘mushroom dill gravy.’ The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious and I’m excited to tear into my carrot cake later!

Not sure if this restaurant changed hands but by the food quality it did. My sausage was not bratwurst, as ordered, warm potato salad was mush and kraut had too much sour taste. Ordered white cake with frosting (slice $9.50) and one could have used it as a brick. I mentioned my concerns but was told, “that’s the way it comes in.” No adjustment for the poor quality. This will be my last time coming to this restaurant. Very sad but definitely not worth the gas money.
