Visiting Kenyon college, we stayed here on a friend's recommendation. The quirky and delightful antique inn was perfect! The quiet, small bed and breakfast has only a handful of unique and charming rooms. It was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was spectacular! The owner was very friendly and helpful, and her beloved dog was very sweet (despite his somewhat intrusive nose). The location of the inn also couldnt be more perfect, right in the campus town center, a short stroll to the restaurant, bar, cafe, and store.

My daughter and I stayed at Gambier House while touring Kenyon, and we really enjoyed it! It is very conveniently located right across the street from campus, and Betsy prepared an amazing breakfast for us - the best french toast I've ever had in my entire life! My daughter loved Kenyon, so if we end up coming back for a second visit, we will definitely stay at Gambier House again if space is available.

My husband, our 16-year-old daughter, and I stayed here for one night while visiting Kenyon College. This was the perfect place to stay! Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing in the common areas. Betsy was friendly and welcoming and made a delicious breakfast (egg souffles, fruit salad, and blueberry muffins). Best of all was the location -- in the middle of the sweet village and walking distance to everything.

Wonderful in every way. Fabulous location for parents if Kenyon students. Lovely areas for sitting in small groups and discussing the days topics. Great homemade breakfast with snacks and drinks available throughout the day. ||||Comfortable rooms with period decor. ||||Betsy the owner And host and Poco the breakfast ambassador dog were both delightful. ||||Highly recommend at stay at The Gambier House.

Staying at the Gambier House was a welcoming experience for two Carolina girls from the South. We came in later than expected for a college visit and Betsy came right over to get us settled in. Betsy was helpful, a great cook and hospitable breakfast host! We found the Gambier House to be quaint, clean, within walking distance to everything and a nice home-base. The Carriage House had everything we needed, including toiletries, coffee & a coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots & pans, glasses, wine bottle openers and a toaster! Other guests staying at the GH were kind and conversational, as well! Thanks, Betsy, for a great place to land!

The Gambier House is a wonderful establishment right in Gambier and a few steps from Kenyon college. It has wonderful old world charm and Betsy is a delightful host. The rooms are well-appointed, very clean and spacious. The breakfast of egg soufflé was really good.

We stayed one night for a special event at Kenyon. Our hostess couldn't have been more accommodating and hospitable. The house is comfortable and cozy, as was our room. It was very quiet (there was only one other visitor at the time we were there), which was appreciated. Breakfast was a wonderful French toast plus fruit, juice, coffee....great!

Gambier House is our favorite place to stay when we come to Kenyon College. It is a charming and gracious inn right at campus. It is nicely decorated and quiet yet very convenient. The innkeeper prepares fabulous breakfasts and cookies. She also has helpful advice for visiting the area.
