We had a wonderful stay at The Fox and The Farmhouse! The accommodations were incredibly welcoming and inviting, making us feel right at home. The location is fantastic, with so many things to do downtown just a short walk away.

What truly stood out was the exceptional communication and availability of our host; they made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We are so thankful for such an awesome experience and will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

My accommodation was sparkling clean, spacious, and quiet. I also had a parking space for my car right outside my unit. The Fox and Farmhouse was within walking distance to the heart of downtown Winder, where I found the people to be very gracious. The b&b is across the street from a park with a nice trail to walk my dog.
Darlene, the inn keeper, checked with me after my first night's stay to see if I needed anything...very thoughtful.
As a widow, I felt very safe and extremely comfortable. 5 star rating is appropriate!!

What an amazing find! We needed a place to stay in or near Winder --- there must have been something going on in Athens because hotel prices were higher than usual. The price at The Fox and the Farmhouse was very reasonable and the place was absolutely perfect. It was close to our event. Darlene was attentive with explicit directions about where to park, where to enter, etc. We stayed in the White Oak room which was lovely. Beautifully decorated. We only stayed one night, but if one were staying for a while it had a mini-fridge, microwave, and plenty of supplies like paper plates, cups, wine glasses, paper towels, etc. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was private, although not connected. Not a dealbreaker for us, but may be for some. You just walk across the hall. There is a nice deck as well as a covered area with seating, all of which would be lovely on a nice day (it rained the evening we were there). Highly recommend!

Wonderful room, I would recommend the Fox & Farmhouse to everyone. Relaxing, clean, well thought out accommodation, with lots of attention to detail shown in the amenities available in the room. Attentive support from our host willing to ensure that we are comfortable and accommodate any request. Good central location to get to other parts of Winder.

My husband & I enjoyed a few nights in the quiet and serene Birch room during the Thanksgiving holiday. Darlene & Dan are a joy to chat with and always prepare the room with attention to detail. Am always happy I can stay with them when we are visiting with family nearby.

I am a solo traveler who comes to Winder on business. You could not find a better place for a couple day trip if you tried. They think of every detail. If you forgot your toothbrush, you’re covered. If you forgot your phone charger you’re covered. Want to sit by the fireplace…done. If you want to sit outside in their upstairs beautifully decorated patio? Done. This is so much more than a bed-and-breakfast. Reasonably priced. The hosts know what they’re doing.

We had the pleasure of staying in the Maple room and it was a beautiful gem…I adored the maple themed decor! Darlene and Dan have placed so much thought into the elegant decor and comfort of the space. It was perfect for a couple and so quiet and relaxing. The room was spacious, incredibly clean, the bed and linens were amazing and the kitchenette had everything you needed. The private patio was a beautiful spot to relax and unwind. The surrounding area is lovely, the location of the Inn was easy to find (even arriving later in the night) and it was so wonderful to be able to park right in front of the room for easy unloading/loading. We had the pleasure of meeting Darlene and she was so incredibly hospitable, her kindness truly made our short stay that much better. Next time we are in the area we hope to stay again!

This was our 2nd time staying at this lovely Inn. This trip we stayed in the Mable Room out back with side porch. Once again, Darlene’s housekeeping is immaculate! Just like previously. Every detail is well thought out. Heated mattress pad was a bonus. We couldn’t have located a better accommodation. Quiet stay and slept well. We dined at Gabrielle’s Waffles & Crepes for breakfast once again and the food was amazing! It is a short drive to Winder from Athens (UGA) and Cumming, GA. Well worth the drive to secure a reservation with these lovely folks. Rates are also very reasonable. Thank you allowing us to return.
