I try to say something positive about the places we stop for breakfast as breakfast spots are few and far between. I'm positive I won't be coming back here.
I ordered the Greek omelet that turned out to be heavy on the tomatoes no feta and what tasted like unwashed fresh spinach, not even cooked. The home fries (potatoes) were hard not cooked. The only thing that was good was the coffee and the bathroom was clean. The decor was cute. I feel bad that this restaurant is supposed to depict a farmer's restaurant/ table. This is not that.

I wanted to leave an honest review because when I was deciding whether to try this place for breakfast all the reviews are either 5 stars or 1.
Prices: Very fair compared to other breakfast places.
Food: My eggs Benedict with pastrami was great. Home fries are good, we enjoyed them but not standout. Hash was not impressive, I would not recommend. My wife got the standard 2 egg breakfast. Bacon was good, but scrambled eggs weren't fluffy. My daughter got the breakfast sandwich, which was on a large water roll.
Service: Service was fine, alot of complaints in reviews about a long time waiting for food. I will admit for a Monday morning I was a little surprised by how long it took. Not obnoxiously long, but at least they came by to refill the coffee while we waited. I would recommend a second cook. I can definitely see this as a place I would avoid on a weekend.
Restaurant: Nice place, very clean

Overall I would go for breakfast again on a weekday. Definitely interested in trying the lunch menu. As a Springfield native I hope this place makes it long enough to fine-tune the service and become a staple in the community.

Food was good, no wait, but we received our food and were never checked on again, offered refills for drinks or coffee, or to check on quality of food. you are also charged more if you use a credit card, instead of cash, so I recommend paying in cash. I assume the service issue was due to our servers being children ( I assume it was the owners children) one of them looked to be 10-13, and they other around 7-9. Overall I would say I had a decent experience. The inside is decorated nicely it looks cute.

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed! The food made by the chef Jose was absolutely delicious, and the service by Ashley was impeccable.The foods is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. Highly recommend.

Been looking for a new breakfast spot in the Springfield, Ma area? Visit The Farmer's Restaurant at 600 Belmont Ave. Warmly welcomed and able to choose your own table or have the ability to walk up and order at the counter and see a view of some of the available lunch fare already ready. Breakfast, lunch, dinner to choose from for a visit. Stopped in for breakfast and had a perfectly cooked meat lovers omelet with nicely seasoned home fries and a side of beef pastallilos. The lunch menu looked delicious and inviting along with a very friendly staff and owner which will lead me to visit again.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.

Restaurant has counter service, but can also sit down. Service was very friendly.

We had the salmon with white rice, and the porchetta with corn on cob as the side. Also had a strawberry smoothie. The porchetta was nice and crispy on outside and tender inside. The salmon was cooked and seasoned well. The rice was perfectly cooked.

Overall very good meal, the also serve a regular breakfast menu, which we will probably try next time we are in town and looking for something in the Forest Park area.

What a great surprise! We usually go to another restaurant for Sunday breakfast. This will be our new place.

I'm sorry but for two dollars to add strawberries they cut 1.5 strawberries in half.... that's ridiculous prices are a little too expensive nowadays to be this cheap. I don't expect to pay a whole dollar just for a strawberry... that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Please do better next time. I did not get any cutlery, nor did I even get syrup for my French toast, and the hash barely had any corn beef it was mostly potatoes and peppers… So double potatoes instead of getting a protein like I paid for… for $25, I think you guys can do better than this.
