We had been traveling and had stayed a couple of nights in a loud hotel prior to our stay at The Evergreen, and were exhausted. Not knowing the area, I called ahead and asked Grant (the main hotel manager who answered the phone and was here during our entire stay) for an honest read on whether we’d likely get a quiet night of sleep if we booked perhaps him. He went out of his way to accommodate us by putting us in a room with no guests next door, and added an extra room between us and the laundry room. Talk about customer service!! We slept perfectly for three nights in this well-equipped, modern and newly updated motel. It was genuinely perfect and I am extremely prickly. Located conveniently off the freeway, an easy drive into San Fran (we stayed in March, so I assume it gets a good bit busier in summer months), everything you need nearby. 🙂 It has a fridge and Nespresso machine, a large smart TV, very comfortable beds (again I’m SUPER picky with this stuff as I’m a very bad sleeper in general), and despite its location next to the road, the fan cancelled out all that noise. My husband and I would highly recommend this place, and the next time we’re back in the Bay Area, we’d absolutely stay again. A++ experience- thank you, Grant!

good location, helpful staff, free parking|I chose this motel by location and price. I looked at other hotels nearby and this one is safer and cleaner. There is good shopping and a wide choice of restaurants nearby. I have stayed in Marin County many times and am likely to return.

This is a great hotel. So clean modern comfortable and well kept. I love the location. It’s in. will definitely stay again. I wish I took pictures before I stayed! So cute!

Although there was protesters upon arrival on the highway, this place awesome! Let’s talk about the automatic curtains, comfortable beds, and nice shower! You can’t beat the price either, shops and local restaurant was only 5 minutes away. I will say an added breakfast would make this place top tier! Nespresso machine was great, but only one pod for each non de-caf and regular.

A brilliant stay with my daughter travelling to visit the Bay Area. This location is perfect for visiting surrounding areas. Close to ferry for San Francisco, shopping and restaurants. Would recommend, immaculately clean and well thought out accommodation.

The gentleman, Grant provided me with an extra blanket to keep warm. He was patient with me. I do appreciate his kindness. He always wore a smile. I was happy to stay there. My first time in that area.

Fantastic place to stay for night or two. Easy to get to all tourist places and Golden Gate Bridge. 🌉 Clean, comfortable and quiet. Recommending!

I had a fabulous stay at this hotel…plenty of shopping/eating within walking distance and the room was very, very comfortable!
