Very nice. Check-in desk staff was outstanding. Medium-sized room with possibly the most comfortable hotel bed and pillows I've ever had in 50 years of traveling. Excellent breakfast. Food, selection, and staff were fantastic. In fact, it was so good I had dinner there as well. Hotel snack store was a bit lean but there's a World Food market next door. Overall a truly top quality place! Won't stay anywhere else if back in OKC.

Outstanding hotel. Very comfortable rooms and bathroom. Lobby is beautiful with many lounge areas to sit. In hotel restaurant is excellent. Walking distant to Whole Foods, TJs and other restaurants. Sidewalks in area very present. Very safe and incredibly CLEAN area. Changed my view of OKC completely!

What an amazing hotel. Very clean and organized. Nice onsite restaurant, parking, gym, spacious rooms and nice amenities. Upon checking we were greeted by staff and welcomed. The bed was comfy and the view was very soothing. Highly recommended

I recently stayed at The Ellison Hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. After breaking my leg, I needed a place to stay that was accessible and comfortable, and The Ellison went above and beyond to accommodate me. A special shoutout to Angela, the manager, who truly set the tone for the outstanding service.

The ADA room I stayed in was incredibly helpful—it was thoughtfully designed and made navigating with my injury so much easier. The staff were amazing, always going out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed.

Being stuck indoors could have been miserable, but the large windows in my room made such a difference. The natural light and view really helped lift my spirits during my recovery.

Overall, the stay was excellent—comfortable, well-equipped, and made even better by the exceptional staff. If you’re looking for a hotel that truly cares about its guests, I highly recommend The Ellison Hotel.

As a Marriott Gold Elite member, I chose The Ellison after a poor experience at the Waterford Renaissance since they are both Marriott properties within 2 miles of each other.

Pros of the Ellison:

- extremely easy parking behind hotel & no additional parking charge
- common areas well-maintained & clean - more of a contemporary / minimalist style
- newer property
- bathroom had a nice shower and room was clean and well-decorated
- extremely easy to access & great location near shopping and dining

Cons:

- rooms are definitely smaller than your average hotel room, so don’t expect a spacious room.
- I was welcome as Gold Elite but was not given a room upgrade.
- no desk area in the rooms, so there is not a good area for business travelers to work inside the rooms, but they do have a small table & chair in the corner.
- I did not personally find the beds to be the most comfortable, but that’s personal preference.

Overall, I do recommend The Ellison and would suggest it over the nearby Waterford Renaissance. Marriott labels the Renaissance the 4-star hotel, but after staying at both, the Ellison is just much nicer and newer.

Being there felt like I wasn't in Oklahoma. The site manager happened to be there and was very pleasant and informative. Staff was nice, rooms were clean. The decor was cool.

This is a great hotel that feels like it should be a 4 star hotel. It’s super clean, rooms are really comfortable, walking distance to Whole Foods, Starbucks, etc. It also has plenty of free parking. The surrounding area also feels very safe. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend staying here.

Thanksgiving meal was good. The four choices all sounded good but the turkey was amazing! I didn’t enjoy the beef sirloin as I prefer my beef more on the medium rare side and this was well done. Pumpkin cheesecake was delicious
