This is my first time going here and I am going to put this place in the top five breakfast places in Tucson. This was amazing and I've almost been to every breakfast place in Tucson. I had the Maurices breakfast burrito It was not only gigantic but so good! The staff was great very attentive and number one in attention in Tucson. Great job!

Our first visit. My GF had an omelette. I ordered bacon & eggs with grits & biscuits with a side of gravy.

The bacon was meaty, delicious and copious — best part of the meal.

Grits… sigh. No matter the Tucson restaurant, grits are always served coldish, lumpy and sweet as if sugar were added… Yet I keep ordering them, hoping to find that happy exception. No dice here, either… when in Tucson, just skip the grits and get the hash browns.

The rest of the food was on par for a diner.

Atmosphere rather spartan, kinda like a Jerry Bob’s — clean enough, interior could use some sprucing up. Service was fine, our wait staff pleasant and efficient. Prices typical of businesses largely exceeding inflation rates — you won’t find much under $10.

All-in-all, a nice local breakfast joint.

Second time at this restaurant. It was quite busy but that didn’t stop us from being seated and served in a very timely fashion.
Ordered a Scrambled Egg and Corned Beef Hash, and a Green Chili Omelette, each with Home Fried Potatoes on the side. IMO, the fluffiness of the scrambled eggs outshone the fluffiness of the omelette but both were tasty. Potatoes were well cooked.
The portion sizes are basically getting a 2 for 1. Too much for each of us to finish, and leftovers just about amounted to another meal.
Enjoyed the restaurant again, I’ll likely return for more.

I've been here a few times, and I have to say this place has to be one of the best breakfast and lunch places out there! The food is always great as well as the service. In the last two visits, I ordered the Chorizo Wrap with a side of salsa. It's a large wrap cut in half, but I can't help but eat it all! The cinnamon roll is awesome and huge! My wife's family loves this place so when we visit Tucson, we come here. It's not a fancy place but I promise you the food is freaking delicious!!

Such a funny breakfast joint with old-fashioned decor and weird strip mall sensibilities, but, man, do they know how to serve up absolutely delicious food from a giant menu. Go to watch the wait staff carry 5 huge, hot plates to your table and delight in the experience of receiving your meal just how you ordered it. Pro tip: the patty melt is exceptional.

I was pleasantly shocked by my experience. The host has the best welcoming personality. The waitresses were friendly and attentive and made you feel special. The food was good, and I was able to fill up my two boys and still have leftovers. Which is rare. Everything was better than going to a well-known chain restaurant.

Incredible place to eat!

Great service, as usual!

Libby was out waitress and she goes above and beyond every time.

Their portions are HUGE!

You can't beat their prices, you can't beat their service and you definitely can't beat their food.

They make everything from scratch.

Being a great cook myself, I have high expectations. This restaurant surpasses all my expectations!

If you dine in, ask for Libby as your waitress.
You won't be disappointed.

And my name is Michelle, and I approve this message🤣.

Ive been here several times now. They do some dishes good, mediocre, and bad. I could have convinced myself that this was a great breakfast place if it wasnt for the bad ones. My last experience left me feeling blue having spent the money i did on what was supposed to be a whiteboard special. Its been fun, but i will be moving on from The Egg Connection.
