The most wonderful place I've stayed. In a corporatized and cookie cutter world, this place is unique. The breakfasts were amazing, the rooms were warm and cozy(we stayed in December), and the place was very clean.

The owners are very kind and helpful. The other guests were quiet and respectful, and it was wonderful to see people from all over the world stay here!

Really nice place to stay, better than we expected. The cooked breakfast was great, they also had an option for when we left very early morning.
Location is an easy 30min drive to Grand Canyon, owner is also a back country guide so have us lots of information about the park and the hikes.
Accomodation is very homely, nice place to hang out for sunset after an early morning hike - lots of nice additional touches.
Great staff, great room, this surpassed our expectations as a great place to stay.

Stayed for one night in the 4 bed female dorm. It was a cosy stay - comfortable beds with en suite bathroom and small kitchen which was functional. Living space to connect with other travellers. Check in was a bit of a hiccup as the check in office had a sign saying the owners were away from the office but were contactable by phone but I couldn't get onto them after several tries. Super affordable for being near Grand Canyon National Park.

Couldn’t rate this place higher! 10/10! Josh and Kylie, the owners, are so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms have everything you need and more - feels like a home away from home! Loved our time at The Dumplin Patch.

The first thing I saw when I entered was a wolf spider in the bathroom. I immediately emailed the host a photo. She said, "wolf spiders are not dangerous to humans". I told her I was sleeping in my car and was not offered a refund, though I didn't spend the night.

(For perspective: I slept on a cot in the Grand Canyon on the CO river with no creepy crawlie issues for 5 nights.

If you don't mind creepy crawlies in your room, this may be a great place. The host is responsive and it's in a convenient location.)

Affordable place and nice, clean rooms. We could park our car right outside our own rooms and the place is decorated very well. Lovely atmosphere and great, freshly cooked breakfast!
