I worked with Russell to curate both a pre Thanksgiving large family gathering dinner and a very specific, themed menu for a small, private dinner party in my home. The food was incredible—high quality ingredients—delicious, and the presentation was excellent. Russell was extremely professional, timely & friendly in all aspects—from our initial phone conversations, to planning the experience, to the execution. As equally important to me was how kind Russell is. He is such a great listener & a pleasure to work with. His experience & knowledge as a personal chef is simply unmatched in Tucson and I wholeheartedly recommend him for anyone who is in need of an elevated food experience. You won’t be disappointed.

Chef Russell was amazing to use for our intimate special occasion dining evening. He was great to be in touch with about every detail and he helped with menu theme and food choices! I have never used a private caterer before and he exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious and he was engaging, personal, fun and helpful! He even cleaned up and left the kitchen sparkling! A wonderful culinary experience ! I recommend it to everyone who is interested in having a terrific way to impress clients, family or friends with a great creative experience. The minute Russell walks into your kitchen you take a breath of relief and know he will be there to allow you to enjoy the evening with friends and family.

We were on vacation with our kids and brought Russell in for an interactive dinner. We started the evening with an interactive class for our appetizer prep. Each guest was able to prepare part of the appetizers and also understand the “why” behind the ingredient combinations.

The food was amazing and presentation was over the top! Highly recommend.

Chef Russell always brings such thoughtfulness and care to create a memorable and enjoyable experience! I have been the recipient of Chef Russell's services on 4 different occasions now and he impresses me every time! He has catered Affinity Counseling Center's Christmas party for the past 3 years and it has become something that all of my staff look forward to and appreciate. I've also hired Chef Russell for a private anniversary cooking lesson and who knew that my wife and I could make such a fancy and delicious meal together?! Chef Russel's generous spirit combined with his vast knowledge of food and health will leave you with not just a 5-star dining experience, but also health guidance that can be used for a lifetime. We hired Chef Russell, The Culinary Architect for my father’s 80th birthday celebration. All I can say is “WOW!”. The whole process was very easy and fun. We started with a video call to discuss the event, expectations, and likes/dislikes/allergies. Chef Russell and his assistant Jerry arrived with all the food prepped. While cooking and finalizing the meal, they explained the menu and preparation. The food was absolutely amazing, the presentation was beautiful, and the service exquisite. Chef Russell and Jerry made the evening fun and completely stress free. Everyone had a terrific time. I plan to use The Culinary Architect for future events. I can’t recommend them enough.
