My wife and I were travelling back to Coffee County Georgia from visiting friends in South Carolina when we discovered this restaurant just off the freeway in Pooler. My wife enjoyed a chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes and excellent brown gravy. There were no vegetables in the pie, but it was full of chicken and spices. I loved the classic British fish and chips that were served with green peas and home-cut fries. I have traveled to England and this American version would make the Brits proud. Our server was very sweet and made us feel welcome.

Good grub, Quinn was our bartender and did great. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Kiki and Ozrah too! They make every visit feel like you are at Cheers. For reference, we had the the Eat it and Like it Restaurant week app, entree and desert.

We've wanted to try the Pie Society since their previous location, but traffic and running never worked out as we drove through Savannah. Luckily this time the stars aligned. The atmosphere was upscale British pub and the food reminded me of being back in England. Sticky Toffee Pudding was delicious. Their Little Crown location is also a wonderful place to visit in downtown Savannah.

The Crown and Anchor Pub is a hidden gem. Located on Hwy 80 near I-95, Crown and Anchor offers ease of access with adequate parking. The food and staff were great. They were able to accommodate our luncheon of 12 people. I ordered the Pub Burger with shoestring fries. Excellent British Pub!

We were traveling on 95 S from Florence to St Augustine and saw this gem on Google. Olivia was our waitress and was amazing. We had the sampler appetizer, The Big British platter to start. Everything was fresh made in house. Then I ordered the Coq au Vin Blanc Pie. Chicken, mushroom, cream sauce in a perfectly flaky crust. My husband ordered the fish and chips. He said the fish was outstanding. With a dessert list like they offer, we couldn’t resist. Olivia, our waitress, said hands down we need to get the Sticky Toffee Pudding. So we got that and the Banofee Pie and shared both. We LOVED both but the Sticky Toffee pudding was 12 out of 10! We will be back!

Nice find off of 95 in Pooler, GA. Good list of English beers. Cottage pie and steak and cheese pie were both delicious and son loved the chicken nuggets and fries. My mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best and we were going to get a dessert for our son but server did not come back for over 12 minutes so had to forego doing so due to time.
