I recently had an incredible dining experience at this plant-based Mexican restaurant! From start to finish, everything was delicious and creatively prepared. We started with the fried guacamole, and it was a total game-changer. The crispy outer layer paired with the creamy guacamole inside was an unexpected but fantastic twist on a classic dish.

For the main course, we tried both the cauliflower burrito and the tacos. The cauliflower burrito was a real highlight—it was perfectly roasted, with a smoky, slightly spicy flavor that balanced well with the fresh veggies. The wrap was soft and fresh, and every bite was packed with flavor. As for the tacos, they were equally impressive. The fillings were vibrant and flavorful, with well-seasoned veggies, fresh salsa, and just the right amount of heat.

The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. The restaurant itself had a relaxed and vibrant vibe, perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion. Whether you’re vegan or just exploring plant-based options, this place will not disappoint. It’s a fresh take on Mexican cuisine that leaves you full and satisfied, without missing the meat! Highly recommend!

Glad I discovered this gem đź’Ž love the atmosphere and staff was very attentive and friendly. I had the hot cakes and enjoyed the Dark Hall Coffee place next door as well. If you avoid chain restaurants as I do and have an appreciation for small businesses that emphasize this much attention to detail, this is your place! Will definitely be coming back.

Overall a good vegan stop with lots of delicious options. We started with cocktails and the fried guacamole which were delicious.
Next we had the Caesar salad (decent; Brussel sprouts were a nice addition) and Coronado Burrito (delicious). Our friends had the Cauliflower burger (good but bun was a bit dry) and Chimichanga (amazing).
Our server changed a few times and they didn’t really know what was going on with our table or I would have given 5 stars.
Overall very good. Highly recommend.

This place a gem! The short stack pancakes are something special, fluffy, and texture with little touch of sweetness, you don’t need maple if you don’t want. The tofu scramble was fire! and hash potatoes were both extremely seasoned and flavorful - the scramble has a soft texture in case you don’t like that, but I did! Paired with their house made scratch ketchup that’s tangy this dish is so good! Music was little loud but you get used to it, and they have a 5 star coffee and bakery next door that serves perfect Americanos and vegan pastries. MUST VISIT, stands out above all the other breakfast/brunch places. This place is for vegans and non-vegans.

This was our 1st time eating here and we will definitely be back! The mini grand slam includes deliciously fluffy pancakes, a well seasoned tofu scramble and an ample helping of fried potatoes. The cauliflower tacos are flavorful and a decent portion. We tried the sour mocktail...it was a wonderful balance of sweet and sour.

Hands down the best service and vegan food in Phoenix. We had the privilege of having the owner as our server and you can tell this man truly cares about his customers. He welcomes everyone like family and is the nicest guy. The food was so flavorful and not over salted…it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was 10/10 as well. This was our first visit and it will definitely not be our last. Thank you for the great hospitality, amazing food and for doing what you do. It’s nice to meet a local owner that actually cares about their business and customers. Keep up the great work!!!

A vegan gem tucked into the historic Coronado neighborhood is an all around winner. Warm, friendly atmosphere with lots live plants indoors and cool mist sprayers outdoors. The menu is filled with innovative and really tasty dishes. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. It was also a very good value with generous portions. We’ll definitely be back.

Excellent vegan spot! My brother and I were deciding on an all-vegan place to try (we are visiting from Metro Detroit), and we picked The Coronado. I’m glad we did! Food, drinks, and service were all fantastic. I liked the elevated but not over the top Mexican inspired food, and it was definitely different than other Mexican places. It isn’t just tacos, etc. the drinks were delicious and paired nicely. Highly recommend the flautas and chimichanga, I can’t decide which was better tbh. We also had the peanut butter chocolate cake and wow, it was so good! I don’t even like banana but it’s worth trying.

It’s a very cute restaurant and it’s in an unsuspecting part of town. They also have brunch which looks super good. I am definitely coming back here when I have a chance. I would even take non-vegans here, I feel like there is something for everyone.
