I’ve stayed here a few times a year for the past 6 years while doing long drives from WA-CA. I haven’t stayed in the same room twice and they’re all wonderful and different. It’s very clean and the staff is wonderful too. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I read every hotels reviews and this is the kind of place that I’m always looking for.

Even after a ten-hour drive with bad allergies and throwing out my back, I didn’t have the energy to go out for dinner. The front desk staff went out of their way to help me, making this hotel feel truly generous and thoughtful. The bedding is incredibly soft as are the bathrobes they provide. The landscaping is beautifully maintained and parking is always easy.

I always push my drive an extra few hours just to stay here , it’s peaceful and quiet. Just love it!

I stayed here one night on my solo trip, I’m so glad I didn’t choose the big brands or chain hotels. The architecture and interior itself is just beautiful. The view from the room is so calming and relaxing. The location is awesome too — very close to all food and drinks, very walkable. It’s also near the Skinner’s Butte where you can see the entire town. 8 minutes walk to the Amtrak Station which is super convenient for train/bus travelers. Service is 10/10, I feel so treated by the complimentary wine at night and the delicious breakfast. I definitely recommend anyone who travels to Eugene to stay here.

What a delightful stop in Eugene, our home town in the 1950s-60s! Conveniently located just above downtown, and very reasonably priced, Campbell House offers a wide variety of rooms. We stayed in the Campbell Family room upstairs in the main house, which is outfitted with a high bed, desk, rocking chair and a settee (the latter in need of some repair under the upholstery!). The reception staff (Abbie) was helpful, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It will definately be our overnight stop of choice in future travels up and down I-5.

The Campbell House Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Their rooms are tastefully decorated and have all the modern amenities, including a small refrigerator that has a tiny freezer.the attention to detail is commendable. The hotel is clean and quiet. And the grounds around the Inn are well-maintained. The gardens have lots of greenery and flowers. Front Desk is friendly and is present until 10 o’clock at night. The Inn has two separate houses; one is the main house and the other one is the carriage house. There is adequate parking in the inns parking lot, there is also street parking however, the limit for the street parking is two hours during business days during the day. The inn is located well, it is walking distance from the park and the historic building. The inn is now owned by the innkeeper, however, there is a description of the history of the house available as a printed folder inside the lobby as well as a digital file format that the front desk will send to you upon request .
The breakfast is very good. I visited there was a starter of scone and a very small bowl of fruit in size of silver dollar 😄 that had melon cubes, pineapple cubes, and watermelon cubes, that is the only thing I would recommend that can be changed…for the main course there was a savory choice and a sweet choice. The savory choice was a sandwich with poached eggs and spinach, tomato and onions with a side of sausage. Sweet choice was waffles with poached pears. there was tea and coffee available throughout the day. at night at the front desk will pour a glass of your choice of red or white wine before 10 PM.

The Campbell House Inn was an ideal place for three girlfriends to stay during our quick overnight trip to Eugene. The grounds were beautiful with blooms. The breakfast provided was incredibly tasty, and the beds very comfortable. Thankfully they also had air conditioning in the rooms because it was a very hot weekend. But equally lovely was the incredible outdoor spaces, especially the lawn space: they provided comfortable chairs so that after an amazing dinner with two bottles of the best Champagne at our favorite restaurant downtown -- The Davis -- we decided to smoke some cigar's outside in the twilight. Amazingly hospitable spaces and the chance for the three of us to get some genuine vacation time -- a super comfortable visit.

So sad , we have stayed there before and loved it , this time not so much .|Found a used condom in our room ,told the manager , no response . Breakfast wasn’t like it was before , some kid with baggy pants that were almost down to his knees was apparently a worker in the kitchen ( we all laughed seeing his bum when he walked by ) didn’t laugh when we saw he went into the kitchen where our food was being prepared.|Sadly we won’t be coming back , they need to do some major fixing in cleanliness & the breakfast

Beware of very loud train whistles throughout the night!!! The main house and the gardens are beautiful. Everything is perfectly manicured. Don't stay here if you a hauling a trailer, as they will have you park at the very bottom of the hill, and it is quite a hike back up. Room was clean and comfortable, but very plain. The bed was great, and the pillows were divine. You get two complimentary bottles of Kirkland Filtered Water in your fridge, who-hoo! Did not try the complimentary glass of wine at arrival, but cookies were fabulous. Breakfast was photo-worthy, and tasty, but small. Service was excellent. Walking distance to downtown.

I can’t say we were “greeted” when we arrived. A less than friendly college kid behind the desk couldn’t have been less interested. She led us down to the Carriage House in silence and let us into the room and disappeared. Didn’t say a thing about the room. The room is disappointing. It is pretty small and run down looking and the bed looked like an old mattress and coverlet is on it. We will have breakfast here tomorrow and I have read it is really good. I hope so.
