We had a delightful time at the Blackfork Marken Inn. The appointments were very nice, and the room was very cleanly. I personally don't like the heavy use of fabric softeners, and it causes my wife to get headaches, but the sheets certainly smelled extra fresh! The bed could have been softer, but that's just my taste. The breakfast was wonderful. The wedding we attended was quite picturesque, and so was the whole Mohican River Valley. I believe we'll be back for a rafting trip, and we'll stay with the good folks at the Blackfork Marken Inn!

Beautiful property that has been in this family for generations! Welcoming atmosphere with friendly owners and breakfast! The rooms were clean and comfortable, while telling a piece of history! Will definitely recommend this charming place to those who like to explore small towns and history!

My cousin & I stayed at the Inn for one night while touring Amish country and wished we had more time. Staying in this historic inn that is owned and managed by the same family who grew up in the house is very special. After checking us in to our room, Dave gave us a tour. I loved the Buckeyes room in the basement that was open for guests to enjoy TV or games. Our room had 2 twin beds which were very comfortable. The breakfast was a 3 course delicious meal. All the rooms are beautifully decorated in period attire. We left our luggage at the Inn while we toured and Dave was very helpful giving directions and recommendations to the area. ||I will definitely stay at the Inn the next time I visit the area.

What a treat to be able to stay in a beautiful Victorian home! It’s furnished from the period and the grandson who remembers being there as a child runs it.
Everything is immaculate and comfortable. Loved having our own bathroom in our room.
We were greeted with a homemade sugar cookie and breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious!
Definitely check it out if you’re staying in the area!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Our spacious room was on the second floor with 2 twin beds and quite comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good in our private bathroom. We loved the detailed decor of this old Victorian house. Floors and stairs creaked a bit but this added to the charm. We had access to the entire house including living room, dining room, other bathrooms and the game room in the basement. Lovely sitting areas outside and in the yard. Walls are a bit thin but this is an old house. Our hosts were friendly and helpful as we learned about the home's history over our home-cooked breakfasts. We helped ourselves to the shelves filled with books to read and take. The walls were filled with collected momentos and history about this family-owned business. They even had t-shirts for sale made by a family cousin. Would definitely stay here again when in this area of Ohio.

The place is very nice, the couple who run it keep it clean and tidy, it is the second time I have been there and I really liked it, the breakfast is very good and homemade.
It is Victorian style, very nice and comfortable, excellent location. ❤️

This is a wonderful place to stay very clean and nicely decorated. Our room was perfect for us with an updated bathroom.The Innkeepers David and Tonya went out of there way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was cooked to order from our choices with local products very tasty. The recreation |room with a pool table, darts and big screen was an unexpected bonus. We would highly recommend this Inn and will be returning in the future.

We spent one night at the inn as we were attending a wedding nearby. Our room was furnished in lovely antique furniture and we had a super comfortable bed. Our room was the Victorian suite. The room was immaculatly clean. The next morning we had a choice of three different breakfast times. When we had our meal it was delicious! David and Tonya were very gracious hostesses. If you are in the area we would recommend a stay here.
