The house is simply magnificent. The attention to detail in the furnishings and decor is exceptional, with period antiques (some from the Bevin family) tastefully used throughout. There are several comfortable rooms for small gatherings, including a library with at least a 12-foot ceiling. The breakfast was wonderful, with homemade yogurt and fresh fruit, plus an interesting bun stuffed with ham, cheese, and egg, and sprinkled with sesame and poppy seeds. Dean and Jess, assisted by Amanda, are the ultimate hosts. We were there on a snowy night, and it was the perfect place to be snowed in. I would highly recommend a stay at the Bevin House. Truly unforgettable. We will go back for sure.

We enjoyed our romantic stay at the Bevin. Our host, Amanda was welcoming and friendly. We were excited to hear about the history of this great house and the efforts to restore it to its glory. The room was warm and comfortable with a great shower. It was private and quiet with a little singing bird that greeted us in the morning. Amanda cooked us a homemade breakfast with farm to table ingredients and was mindful of our food preferences. We very much appreciated her thoughtfulness.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Victorian home! The Inn Keeper, Amanda is excellent, and treated us to a delicious homemade breakfast - croissant french toast with fresh fruit and home-tapped maple syrup. We also enjoyed sausage and breakfast potatoes with coffee/tea. It was easy to find and had plenty of parking. It’s a lovely rustic setting with clean rooms, comfortable beds and interesting historic furnishings throughout. Thanks Amanda.

Best breakfasts we’ve had in awhile and the menu was different for each of the three days we stayed. Highly recommended for anyone who likes staying in Victorian era mansions. On a quiet street with a beautiful large garden to wander around in. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you Amanda for your hospitality. A get away without going too far!! We relaxed and enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco in the music room while listening to Boccelli. Amanda is very friendly and works hard to make everything just right. A great place to escape - next time we want to come when the pool is open!! And breakfast is amazing!

My wife and I had such a lovely experience at the Bevin House. The interior is majestic and authentically captures the 19th-early 20th century vibe. The Innkeeper, Amanda, is fantastic. She is very attentive to the guests' needs, provides historical information about the house, does a great job managing the property, and is an outstanding culinary master. Lastly, there are goats... 3 of them... and they're adorable..... Highly recommended A++

Went to this bnb for a romantic weekend, and it completely exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful house, delicious farm-to-table breakfast, comfortable, clean rooms, and lovely hosts. Great location as well, and walkable even if you don't have a car!
