First off, the view from my room was to die for! I got an excellent view of the beach and ocean. There is a set of stairs that goes down to the beach for easy access. The price for a beachside inn room wasn’t bad. That’s where the positive aspects end. The woman working the office was very slow and almost over-charged me. The room was a whole other matter. There was dried mud on the floor. The sofa had a rust-colored stain on the cushions. One of the bed sheets, the blanket and the duvet were left crumpled and piled on top of the bed. There was a few hair strands on the bed from the previous guest. The blanket had some holes in it. The sheets don’t appear to be stained and there was no sign of bedbugs in the room. The towels had mud stains and hadn’t been washed. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The shower had a few hair strands as well and there was a used soap bar from the last guest. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned from the last guest either. The inn room had most of the amenities except hand soap and it would be a better inn with a better review from me if only they had taken the time to adequately clean the rooms. Lastly, they left absolutely no instructions for checkout, only stating that it was vaguely at 11. The office was closed in the morning, so I was left confused about checking out until I contacted the number of the company that owned the property. The manager there left an after hours number, but never answered or called me back. Also, this place was in Netarts, NOT Tillamook.

I flew in to Portland to meet my bf, and he decided to book this room in Seaside. After being on a plane the bed was heaven sent. The shower and room were clean when we entered. Heating worked well considering it was still chilly outside. The balcony could be redone but the view was everything. Sunrise n sunset were beautiful. Lady at front was sweet and helpful. Walkway down to water was nice n good photo opportunity’s !

It was a nice lil spot. Had a great view of the ocean in the morning along with balcony. I personally thought they had comfy pillows. Will definitely be back again.

We booked last minute due to the fact that the other hotel we were planning on staying at in Tillamook wasn’t any better.

We arrived and as soon as we walked in, the walls were stained yellow from cigarette smoke, the futon couches were heavily stained and had crusty sand….crusty sand.

Then, the comforter for the bed had dried blood. I packed up the family and fled!

The views aren’t worth any of this! Do NOT waste your time or money! Horrific!!

Stayed here last weekend with my wife, and thought it was going to be a great place right on the beach. Ended up pretty much catfished from the pictures of the room very outdated, they need to update there pictures because it was totally different than what we walked into. Had zero AC room was so hot we had to sleep with the window wide open, hair in the shower, room did not look clean in general very minimal effort at best, bed looked like it wasn’t cleaned either. The price is way too much for such a tiny room with horrible amenities, wouldn’t say this is the best motel in Tillamook when it’s not even in Tillamook! Overall do not stay here we do not recommend staying.

Yikes. They didn’t provide hand soap, which would seem like a bare minimum. Before we check-in time, we called twice and texted the number we were told and didn’t hear back. The office was closest all afternoon, and we weren’t able to get our questions answered. The lobby smelled terribly of cigarette smoke even though we were told there wasn’t smoking allowed. Only one lamp worked, and I added an image of what the ceiling light looked like. The TV remotes didn’t work either. The only good thing is the beach. Don’t book a room here.

Unfortunately didn’t read the bad reviews before going here. I left this hotel COVERED in bed bug bites. I went to a local urgent care and they confirmed that’s what the issue was. There’s been multiple cases of bed bugs at this location.

Not to mention the room wasn’t the best, the heat hardly worked. Decent for the price, if it didn’t have bed bugs.

I thought we were getting a great deal on a decent room, but ehhh, not quite. The view from our balcony and the beach access was really nice, but that was about it.
The bed was super uncomfortable and was on wheels and NOT attached to the headboard, so it moved all over. (Imagine how that goes when being intimate.)
Walls are very thin. You could hear everything from the other side of the wall and even those being loud on the balcony or fighting in their room a few doors down. Obviously, we didn't sleep well due to these factors.
This place accepts pets and we heard a small, yappy dog in the rooms, which was quite annoying and a pair of unleashed golden retrievers staying at the hotel. I feel the hotel should be better about enforcing some kind of rules surrounding that, so it doesn't ruin others' vacation.

The TV didn't work. The woman who checked us in said they had an electric issue that day. (I personally feel they should have offered maybe a 5-10% refund for that.)
The room was mostly clean. The floors could have been cleaner. There is a step up/down from balcony, but during the wetter months (most of the year) they could have something to wipe your feet/leave your wet shoes coming into the room and coming in/out of the balcony would help to keep the floors cleaner.
In the shower, there was a body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispenser--only the conditioner had something in it. Thank goodness I had my own body wash.

I was hoping this could be our new place to come to on the coast for the fair price, but I can't overlook all the negative factors. If these issues were taken care of, I'd be willing to come back, but on my next trip to the coast, i will be trying someplace else. Such a shame with such a nice view and balcony; it has so much potential.
