I recently visited Tatman’s restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was, especially considering the charming countryside setting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a lovely lady running the place who made sure we had everything we needed.

I’ve never had breakfast in such a picturesque spot before – the food was simple but satisfying, and the views around the restaurant made the experience even better. For the price, it’s an excellent spot to enjoy a relaxing meal without breaking the bank.

If you're looking for a spotlessly clean diner with the bathrooms cleaned every 15 minutes, go to Denny's.

If you're looking for small town comfort with terrific food, friendly service, and all the local news from the folks that live here, quit driving past Tatman's Restuarant and go in! I've lived in this area for 20+ years and I can't believe I haven't stopped in sooner!

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Tatman's. She had two eggs over medium, wheat toast, and coffee. I had two eggs over medium, home fries, bacon, wheat toast, orange juice, and coffee. We split a blueberry pancake. The total bill was $14.00. For reference sake, on June 20, 2023, Tatman's charged $2.35 for one egg with toast. My home fries were excellent - piping hot and flavorful. The bacon (3 slices) had just the right amount of crispness for me. The restaurant was full of locals sitting at the counter (about twelve stools). There are two booths. We loved the atmosphere. As one reviewer mentioned, it could a bit cleaner around the booths. For my orange juice, the cook/server went over to the general store section of Tatman's and got a bottle of Minute Maid for me 🙂. You can get a nice, full breakfast for about five or six dollars here.

Great roadside diner type food with homemade pies. Don't be put off by its outward looks. Park, step in and have a seat. We were really glad we did.

Great food and awesome homemade ice cream. Went there as a kid growing up and every chance I get when I'm home on Edie Hll Rd I go back. My kids also love the ice cream!
