Tanbark Shores Guest Suite was absolutely amazing, so comfortable and relaxing . I could not have asked for a better experience and more comfortable place. I stayed one night here and I wish I could have stayed more but it was already booked for the weekend. The room is very comfortable and clean with a washing machine/dryer offered so you can wash your clothes. Everything was perfect. You had full use of the property and the view out the back yard was spectacular. Scott and Debra are super hosts. They welcome you in as if you are family and go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. I loved it here. I guarantee I will be back to stay here again in the near future.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience celebrating our wedding at Debbi and Scott’s beautiful property. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their communication was top-notch, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect.

Debbi’s thoughtful touches really stood out—she even created a stunning wedding sign and set up a lovely table adorned with champagne and beautiful decor, which added a magical touch to our celebration. The property itself is breathtaking, making for the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos.

We can’t thank Debbi and Scott enough for their generosity and kindness. We will undoubtedly be back in the future! Highly recommend this lovely getaway for anyone looking to create unforgettable memories.

Impeccable guest house! We were so delighted in our stay--every detail was anticipated. Beautifully decorated in a nautical theme, the "guest suite" was so comfortable we didn't want to leave. Hosts were friendly and thought of every detail. We couldn't recommend this lovely cottage more highly-- we hope to enjoy returning often in the years to come!

We spent 6 weeks travelling the states and this was by far our favourite accomodation.
If you visit Brookings, Oregon and don’t stay at Tanbark shores you’ve really done yourself a disservice .
The location is spectacular , views from the backyard straight across the water to Chetco point are hard to beat. If wildlife is your thing, take a seat in the backyard and put your feet up because you can see it all from there.
We watched seals sunbathing, Ospreys in flight catching fresh fish and then eating the in the tree in front of us. The sunsets from Chetco point are unbeatable .
The hosts Debra and Scott are incredible, there is quite literally nothing that they have not thought off to ensure their guests comfort .
Pilot house is set up so you can walk in, dump your bags and just enjoy.
Perfect for weekend getaway’s, anniversaries, road trips !
We are from NZ but we will go back for another visit because it’s so amazing.
