We had such a wonderful experience while dining at the Taj Mahal. This was a busier day than usual as they had a large party they were serving, even with that they provided excellent service and food was absolutely fantastic. We’ve been to many states and countries and had Indian food. The Taj Mahal blew us away with the spice and flavors of all the dishes we ordered. The staff and owner were very helpful while ordering and got our spice level spot on. Give them a try, only regret is we leave tomorrow and won’t be able to come back for more delicious dishes. Thank you again for the experience.

It was a mixed feeling of good and okay food taste. People were nice and polite. I would recommend the karahi paneer and paneer tikka masala. Tandoori chicken and shrimp 🍤 was okay. The portion size was relatively small compared to the usual Indian restaurants. A lot of people came for pick up but not so many for dine in.

A very clean restaurant. The chicken tika masala was a bit different than other masala’s that I’ve had at other restaurants. This one wasn’t as soupy and a bit richer red color. It was still very good. Garlic naan was good some parts were crispier than others. Restaurant has a full bar available as well. I would go back.

After stepping inside, the smell hit me like a brick. It smelled of burnt rubber, electrical fire, and sewage. That smell also had a lingering after taste in the food. Not sure if they burnt something in the kitchen or what… However, I asked for to go bowls because I couldn’t take the nauseating smell any longer and when I was pouring my butter chicken into the bowl there was a thick, greasy, black hair about 3 inches long down in the middle of the food. Service was friendly when they actually came around. The restaurant itself was clean and looked very nice.

This is the Indian restaurant that I judge all others against. I dream of the Butter Marsala sauce and Kashmiri naan. Everyone is so nice and is wonderful at making recommendations if you're unsure what to choose. This is on our must visit list every time we come to Conway.

Taj Mahal Indian kitchen in Conway was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! We were greeted and sat promptly by a warm and welcoming gentleman who made us feel like a priority. The restaurant was very clean, smelled wonderful and was decorated very minimal. Quite the relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the samosa for our appetizer and they were delicious, fresh and flavorful. Our main dish was the lamb curry with garlic nan, it arrived piping hot and aesthetically pleasing. The lamb was tender and juicy and the rice was cooked to perfection! We are excited to find an Indian restaurant in Conway that exceeds our expectations, will definitely be making a return visit soon!

2nd time to dine here, 1st time for my sister. The atmosphere is very nice, easy to have conversations.
The service is perfect! Throughout our meal service, Koran, Pravin, and Panay served dishes and made sure we were happy with our meal.
The menu offers many, many options and the portions are plentiful (brought home almost 1/2 of our food). We tried samosas, naans, and chicken entrees. Spice levels are mild, medium, and very spicy (?)—went with medium and it was perfectly fine, not too spicy.
Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes on the menu!
Don’t hesitate giving them a try!

Taj Mahal Indian Kitchen in Conway was so delicious!! There were lots of traditional dishes on the menu such as Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and Tandori Shrimp, but there were also quite a few vegetarian items as well as Indo-Chinese fried rice and Singapore noodles.
As an appetizer, my husband and I had and consumed very quickly the Veggie Samosas. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The empty plate is only pictured because we forgot to take a before photo!
I ordered the Chicken Biyrani, light heat, and it was amazing! Chicken was tender and everything was seasoned to perfection.
My husband ordered the Indo-Chinese Chicken Fried Rice and he loved it! I tried some and while it was reminiscent of traditional Chinese chicken fried rice, the additional spices really elevated the flavor. So good!! The Naan, both garlic and regular was cooked perfectly!
The service was great! All the staff were friendly, we received refills without having to be asked and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The restaurant was immaculate in cleanliness and smelled clean, but not overwhelming because I could still smell the inviting aromas of the food being prepared.
