Awesome BBQ, easily some of the best in CT. The ribs were pretty lean which is good for me, and the brisket had a nice smoke flavor with visible rings. The egg rolls were insane, never had something stuffed like that before. The ricotta was ok but the bread was good. And the ribeye was cooked perfectly. It's quite a lot of food so highly recommend sharing!

Food was tasty, bartender was sweet and attentive. The service was a bit slow. The bacon pops were the only disappointment, fatty and rubbery.

We had an attentive waitress who explained the many options for the sides, as there were some options that were not listed on the menu that were available.

I had the brisket, which was cooked to perfection and had a great smoked flavor, it was served with a drizzle of BBQ sauce, which honestly was not needed as the brisket was was tender juicy and flavorful enough on its own. You may want to ask for it on the side. The brussel sprouts were roasted in beef tallow, and were tender and tasteful. The tiano Mac and cheese was shell macaroni with a thick cheese sauce, that clung well to each piece of pasta.
The serving size of the brisket was huge, it was plenty for 2 meals.

My boyfriend had the half smoked chicken, it was moist and had a nice smoked flavor and the bbq sauce complimented the smoked chicken and tasted wonderful. He had the house made chips which were light and crispy along with a side of French fries.

While we dined we were entertained by a singer who sang Frank Sinatra songs, and it was a very relaxing experience with great food.

We will definitely be back.

I’ve been to Taino several times over the years and have always had a great meal, but tonight’s meal was the best! My go to is always the smokehouse burger, its consistency always cooked and tastes exactly the same every time and never a soggy bottom bun. This time I also tried the wings, and they were amazing! I’m picky when it comes to wings (I prefer them crispier) and these were smoky from being smoked first AND crispy full of flavor from being fried after. But our waiter Tony truly made it an overall great dining experience.. he was the perfect amount of friendly, personable and attentive all the while being the only server taking care of a full dining room of tables. Hats off to Tony and the cook staff for a truly great service and meal, I already can’t wait to come back.

I had an amazing dining experience at Taino Smokehouse Prime! The food was absolutely delicious - my friends and I couldn't get enough of the blue cheese chips and barbecue eggrolls. The drinks were fancy and perfectly complemented our meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to meet with friends or enjoy a romantic date night. Five stars all the way!

What an amazing restaurant! Whether your dining in casually or hosting a big party, Taino in Meriden is the place to be. With the best food and the best team, you will have a great experience guaranteed. Shout out to Justine, Cheylynn, Hannah, Joe and the entire kitchen for making my party one for the books!

A great place to dine in. The atmosphere was comfortable and cozy. The service was great, and we got seated immediately without a reservation. The BBQ egg rolls were a great appetizer. The food was amazing, and the sauce on the marinated steak sandwich was very delicious. The garlic truffle fires were cooked to perfection. I also had the best cocktail I have ever had here, the Winter Spiced cocktail was so good, all the ingredients worked so perfectly together and nothing was too strong or too faint.

My parents came here last week and had the most amazing time. Ariana was their server and they were raving about her. They left with left overs and could not stop talking about this place. I was able to come tonight and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible. HUGE PORTIONS!! Tonight we had Derek as a server. He was so thoughtful and attentive. He made sure we had a great dining experience. Food was excellent once again. We keep trying new dishes and nothing disappoints. Love this place!!! And love their servers.
