Sweet potato catering made the most delicious food for our wedding! We chose plated meals that they put together on site for a dinner everyone raved over! We selected chilean sea bass and roasted pork shoulder for dinner, and for hors d’oeuvres we had lollipop lambs, brioche sliders, shrimp cocktails and a charcuterie selection! Katie and her team did an incredible job!

Sweet Potato Catering made our wedding day unforgettable! Katie was amazing to work with—organized, responsive, and attentive to every detail. The food was incredible, especially the pasta bar, which was a huge hit. We had leftovers for the week, and it was still amazing! Darla and the staff were fantastic, with Darla’s warm, friendly service really standing out. We couldn’t have asked for a better catering team and highly recommend Sweet Potato Catering!

Katie helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect! The appetizers were delicious and her display fit our theme perfectly. Dinner was so good that guests raved about it all reception. We couldn’t have asked for better!

Our experience with Sweet Potato Catering was very negative. We used their services for our wedding. Katie is very unprofessional, especially with communication skills. She does not respond in a timely manner. I understand she has two businesses and other customers but we would go days before receiving a response. When she did answer, her responses were vague and passive aggressive. It felt like we were an inconvenience. She was very disrespectful to my mother, who just wanted to make sure she was keeping up with timeline and payments. Additionally she wanted to charge $200 for a taste testing for pasta. $200 just to try noodles and sauce? Ridiculous. That was never mentioned to us while going over the contract. We decided not to get pasta bar after looking over the total price and charges for additional toppings and charges per person. We ended up ordering a couple of charcuterie boards and then got pizza from Danny boys, which Katie agreed too. Our wedding was very small, but felt like we were being charged like we were having a bigger wedding. The charcuterie boards were good, but the pizza from Danny Boys was amazing.

Katie is an amazing chef. She responded quickly to all our questions and suggested fabulous options and ideas on how to make our event exactly how we envisioned it! She was able to work within our budget and from the cocktails to main course to desserts - all was delicious! Everyone had a fantastic time! We highly recommend Sweet Potato Catering. Katie was an absolute dream to work with and her food was just as amazing! We did the drop off option for our rehearsal dinner and the mac n cheese and fried chicken were to die for!!! So happy to we went with Sweet Potato Catering!!!

We have had many large events throughout our years between business events, Christmas parties, summer events and large weddings at our home. This was by far the most amazing catered food we have ever had. We have food allergies and most everything was gluten/dairy free, clean, fresh and delicious. All our guests raved about the presentation, the professional staff including the owner and they did it all with a smile and joyful nature. So grateful and we will absolutely use them in the future! Katie is the BEST and so deserving!
