It’s between 3-3.5. We went there on a weekend for lunch and it took forever to be seated. The main server lady was somewhat curt and aggressive. After finally being seated, it still took another 5-10 min until someone came by and it took another 20-30 min for food to finally come out. It seemed like the majority of people were ok with waiting a long time for anything to happen. We had a variety of burgers, salads and sandwiches and they were all fairly good. The sauce for sweet potato fries were great. It’s a cute establishment but not great.

Today after climbing Stone Mountain, I was surprised when I drove by the sweet potato Café for the first time. This is where I met Mahogany who was preparing to start the day with brunch. I asked her if they serve food in there, she said yes. So I did a U-turn and parked in the front and waited for them to open. This was totally worth the surprise visit, because the food was amazing. I had the Fried chicken and sweet potato waffles. It came with maple butter, that was delicious. The waffles were soft. The chicken was tender, this was a great meal. I spoke with Mahogany for a little while, she was very kind and welcoming. This will definitely become a regular spot for me after climbing stone mountain on the weekends, it is a great little treat. I also had a great conversation with Sharon outside before leaving. She gave me some great information on downtown Stone Mountain.

Man! I came in for lunch today and had the chicken pesto panini with sweet potato fries. The service was excellent and the quality of ingredients and preparation are next level. Definitely one of the best pesto chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a long time and the sweet potato fries are without a doubt the best around.

Our family of 8 showed up Saturday night at 6:30. We did not have a reservation yet they opened up a new section to accommodate us. The food was outstanding, the prices were great, and the people made the night. I cannot say enough good things about this bright spot in my family’s trip. We will be back!

I visit the cafe quite often. It’s a cute little place that is farm to table and black owned. The food is delicious and healthy and the service is top notch. My favorite time to go is during brunch the French toast is amazing but lunch and dinner are great as well the vegetables are amazing and the sweet potato hummus is in a league of its own and it comes with homemade chips. Yummy! I recommend making a reservation it can be busy. Love it!

Went to the Sweet Potato Cafe for lunch. I ordered the black bean burger with sweet potato salad, fried green tomatoes with a black eyed peas relish, and sweet potatoe pound cake. I loved the taste of the black bean relish. The black burger tasted like it was made from fresh ingredients. The sweet potato pound cake was amazing. The only thing that I personally did not care for was the sweet potato salad (bland). The service was great. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely try again.

So excited to visit a neighbor restaurant. The decor in this reminds me of my grandma’s hugs: warm, comforting, and thoughtful. The wood surfaces appearing original to the craftsmanship of this antique charmer are all beautifully finished. The diverse atmosphere was like congregating with extended family. Now concerning the food! Fried chicken and waffles is a common southern staple. This place was far from common. The sweet potato waffles were excellent; no syrup required. The chicken was seasoned to perfection with a slight kick of spicy. The whiting too was seasoned well. The flesh was succulent while the skin was oh so crunchy. The collard greens were uniquely flavored but very, very good and the sweet potato biscuits with homemade marmalade were divinely moist and sutlley sweet 🤗👌🏽 The serving sizes were ample while the pricing was very reasonable. The classic, instructional music piping through the speakers throughout was the cherry 🍒 on top. The patrons never ceased coming.

The. Sweet Potato Cafe was awesome!

Their menu has a southern flair and looked so good that the four of us had trouble deciding. We ordered 2 appetizers to share, and for meals the Garlic Shrimp Broccoli Stuffed Sweet Potato, the Kale, Apple Chicken Salad and the others Pulled Pork Mac N Cheese. The portions were large, the prices too reasonable.

Our waitress was a sweetie! The atmosphere inviting. I can't say enough good things about this place.
