When I booked this hotel, I didn’t realize it was motel style. The rooms were updated and clean. I had no problem other than the fact that as a female solo traveler, I didn’t like having my door the only barrier to the street. The area itself is not safe to walk as I was told by the shuttle driver. I took the airport shuttle only from the airport. It was easy to find as they give you detailed info on how to find it in the confirmation email. Breakfast wasn’t that good. Just simple white bread, cereal, coffee, juice, and questionable fruit. Overall good for just one night stay.

The room was awesome, super clean, and looked brand new! Beds were comfy, AC worked great, and it had everything we needed!
But, the hotel's location was kinda sketchy. Breakfast was a bit weak.
Still, it was a good one-night stay for the price, so I'm not complaining too much!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a fridge,microwave, and coffeemaker.
Located 2 miles from the airport and a shuttle runs every hour.
Downside- this hotel is located in a homeless high traffic area. Lots of druggie type people walking 24/7. Lock your car and do not walk around. There are food choices about a mile away, but just order delivery or drive. Front desk keeps them away from guests because they know breakfast starts at 0600.

This hotel gets a bad wrap from some reviewers. I was super hesitant to stay here since some said the neighborhood isn’t safe. No safety concerns after staying here.
I do agree you don’t want to walk around the neighborhood but there is nothing in walking distance to do. This is a place to stay for 1 night when arriving or departing for the airport and nothing more.

The rooms are nice, it’s overpriced on the weekends, but looks like all of Phoenix is the same. We stayed here twice when we arrived and when we left Phoenix.

It is a motel and not a hotel and the rooms are nice. I like the fact that we can drive up to our room and unload and walk right in.

Location is kind of sketchy but the hotel is well lit at night and the property looks like it's secure. Rooms were nice and clean and had everything we needed plus the breakfast was pretty good as well I would stay here again. Liz was very nice and courteous due to a a few minor confusions during booking but she was more than accommodating.

(Edit 12-12-2024) We came back and stayed for a second time last night and I was very pleased with the second stay. Again overall pleasant experience. Well done Surestay. Thank you Liz!! 🙏🏽

So don't let first impressions detour you! They are doing a great job at renovations. I'm single female and solo and felt safe. I fly weekly and Needed a place close to my monthly parking for the night. Check-in was a breeze and good service. Room was clean, bed comfy, big! Nice TV, even though i passed out. The shower had good water pressure and was HOT! Had coffee in the room and heating and air was good. I slept like a baby!

DO NOT BOOK - DO NOT RECOMMEND. By no means am I a person that has high expectations or necessarily care about the highest or nicest of qualities … but this hotel was absolutely filthy. The bedsheets had multiple stains of various colors and even hair strands. When I brought this to the receptionist’s attention, he offered me a different room and even showed it to me. The new room he would have offered ALSO had multiple stains on the bedsheets and even more hair strands. I feel validated in my disgust when the receptionist confirmed he also saw the hair strains too and would refund my money. I’ve never had this experience at any hotel stay. I’ve stayed at my fair variety of hotels, and this would be the first that I had to check out immediately from.

We went 5 mins down the street to Hampton Inn and paid a $50 difference for peace of mind and comfort. 3rd photo is of Hampton’s sheets. Relief when I saw clean sheets!

Disappointing Stay – Misleading Photos and Poor Value

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the photos provided online. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations.

First, the hotel looks very different from the pictures online. It is more of a standard old-style motel, which was not made clear in the listing. Additionally, there was ongoing construction during my stay, which created noise and disruption that I was not informed about beforehand.

Considering the condition of the property and the lack of transparency, I found the price to be very high for what is essentially a motel room.

I would recommend that the hotel update its photos to reflect the current state of the property and clearly disclose any construction work to future guests. This would help set proper expectations and avoid similar disappointments.
