Edit#7 I checked out on 1/11 when I had no water yet again. The guy at the desk printed me a fake refund check out receipt which I posted in the pictures.

Edit#6 The automated response forgot to add the phone number and contact email. Now this is just a game. How is this place open?

Edit#5 I have spoke to the booking agency and they will not give any refund. Only recommendation is to check out. Note be careful with Hotel Engine the fine print is no good. This morning at 4am still no water. The desk person/owner is a criminal and will not refund or anything for no having running water for my entire trip.

Edit#4 well it's been 8 days and 4 without water. I just got back to my room and no water again. So no toilet, sink or shower.

Edit#3 Around 7:30pm they know on my door and tell me there will be no water and tried to give me a 5 gallon jug of water. I have yet to be reimbursed for anything.

Edit#2 I was offered a few bottles of water by the front desk in exchange for a hot shower and a toilet. @Best Western Hotels

Edit#1 Day 4 of camping at this motel. Had water for a day it was nice. I was met after work and told 15 minutes and water would be good. It's 6:40pm and I have no water. Minor inconvenience the heater and AC fan motor doesn't work.

Checked in on 1/2 and had no hot water. I arrived back to the motel at 3pm after work on 1/3 and now I have now water at all. This issue remains until 9. I visit the office several times and they keep telling me it's coming. I will be editing this daily.

Checked in to be told there is NO breakfast, even though that is what is promised! No ice machine! Coffee maker in room but no coffee cups! carpet is ripped, and the towel rack is missing off the wall. This is the very worst BEST WESTERN that we have ever stayed it, an embarrassment to Best Western being a diamond member I have stayed at quite a few. If we had not been so tired from a long drive I would have walked away and lost my reservation!

Where to start with this....we checked in after a 16 hour flight and 3 hour drive for a few hours to get some sleep before driving the rest of the way home and it was AWFUL. Check in took an abnormally long time for being 3am and the only ones there. AND when we arrived there was another guest's information just sitting on the counter that had their address, contact info etc all displayed for complete strangers to see. Then, the room we were given had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door and we were concerned someone was already staying there but we went inside to check and the bed was unmade and very obvious someone had been staying there and the room not been cleaned before given to us. Back at the lobby we informed him and before he got us a new room I insisted on a refund and staying elsewhere and he was very pushy saying "no, no it's okay the room is good I will go there with you to make sure" so reluctantly we stayed after voicing several times we'd rather get a refund and go somewhere else. Once in the room is appeared "clean" if that's what you want to call it. Room was very run down, the door would not latch unless you slammed it shut VERY hard, the bathroom had no soap to wash your hands, the AC made god awful noises all night (rattling, shaking, buzzing, all sorts of things). The pillows were very small, the TV didn't work at all, the light switch to the room does nothing you have to go into the room all the way to manually turn on a lamp to see. Just terrible experience all around. Oh, and not to mention the pool was shut down and completely empty.

Please save yourself the hassle of booking here. Upon checking in i headed over to the room and the beds were undone and had dirty linen as if someone was staying there. I had to use the restroom (as I had driven 5hrs) and to my surprise there was also no towels or toilet paper. I headed over to reception and requested another room as I thought maybe they mistakenly gave me an uncleaned room … I was then given keys to a second room and AGAIN the beds undone and no towels and the floors also seemed dirty/not vaccumed. I headed over to reception a 2nd time and stated I would be canceling my reservation the middle eastern guy up front insisted on my stay and stated he would give me another room and he would go with me to make sure its clean … we get there and guess what!? Yupp another room with the bed undone and no towels AND it was a 1 king bed when i clearly stated i needed two beds as i would be sharing it with a coworker. And not to mention the receptionist also let me know they no longer offer breakfast and the pool does not work. I had to spend nearly an hour with customer service to receive my refund. Worst hotel ever in my experience.

**NEWEST UPDATE (1/13/2025): bank said the documentation I presented wasn’t sufficient enough, and said the only way now I can get my money back is by a written approval for a refund from the merchant directly. So I called the Surestay and told them BOTH our Bank, and Best Western say THEY need to approve the refund. The man argued for a moment until he realized I’ve made reviews thus far, and I confirmed. He finally tells me he’ll have the manager call me. I told him that the manager has until 6pm 1/13/25, or we’re escalating the situation for FALSE ADVERTISING! So I’m waiting on the manager to call me back (and we’re in the same time zone just so there’s no confusion on time). I’ll keep everyone updated!

**UPDATE (12/20/24): There was an issue with the banks investigation on my refund for our stay here, and they unfortunately mistakenly reversed my refund. So obviously I had to fight the claim again, but unfortunately I had the displeasure to deal with the staff at the hotel directly! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I called last night around 6 pm (we’re in the same time zone so I know it wasn’t too late at night) to ask for a refund in order to reopen my claims case with the bank. The man on the phone told me he had to call his supervisor, and call me in the morning. I told him it’s not too late and I’d like to solve the problem that evening. He continued telling me that he needed to call “her” and “she” might not answer because it’s “late”. I frustratedly said fine and called the bank back. They said wait for the call in the morning. It wasn’t until 12 pm when I HAD TO CALL THEM! To which he responded that “HE” (being his “manager”) said I have to call Best Western for the refund. I already talked to Best Western and they gave me a membership upgrade and points, which I was satisfied with on BW end, but they said they wouldn’t answer their call for a refund, so that’s when I proceeded to call the bank the first time. So now with both the bank and BW having told me to call the hotel DIRECTLY, and this run around, it has made it VERY OBVIOUS they DON’T WANT to give us a refund! It’s been the same man that checked us in the night we were there, and on the phone both times. DONT COME HERE EVER!!

Fine if you’re on a budget, but be warned they advertise their amenities as having a pool, hot tub, breakfast and ice machines…. They don’t actually have any of those. The pool was drained, no ice machine to be seen, and when we went to “breakfast” as stated on Best Wasterns website they told us they don’t have anything. As a mom with kids that travel with me I always book rooms with breakfast for my kids, so I was VERY unhappy to find no breakfast when I paid for a room with it.

*EDITED: I DON’T THINK THEY REALLY TAKE REVIEWS SERIOUSLY!!!!! READ MORE OF THESE RECENT REVIEWS AND SEE HOW LONG ITS TAKEN THEM TO “SOLVE” THESE SIMILAR ISSUES!!!! ITS BEEN MONTHS OF THE SAME PROBLEMS!!! Yikes 😬 *

This was pretty bad to be honest. We showed up and were told that the pool and jacuzzi weren't working. It was 47c outside and one if the reasons we booked this place was for they facilities. The girl was very apologetic and took $15 off our stay. We then went to our room and the A/C is usually on fan so the room doesn't take to long to cool off but everything was turned off even the alarm clock so the room was stifling hot. We went for breakfast the next morning to be met with a sign in the window saying there was no breakfast being served. We went into ask the receptionist what was the issue but it was another girl who had a real bad attitude and clearly couldn't be bothered with us asking about the lack of breakfast. She said I'll take another $10 off your room, only after we asked would we get a price reduction. I understand that you can't be bothered with guests asking the same questions but we are paying customs who came to your hotel because it was advertised as having these facilities. If you don't want to deal with guests who are annoyed at the lack of services(that we have paid for) then find another job. SIMPLE!! And check the attitude. So we got $25 off but we would rather have the pool/jacuzzi and breakfast and you can keep you 25 bucks. So let's be clear there is NO POOL OR JACUZZI at this hotel and won't be for the foreseeable future. I would swerve this place and go somewhere else. Just not worth the hassle.
