The room was ok a little not as clean as you might like or as much parking as one might like but the night cleark whom checked us in was very helpful and very friendly ! I'd made a mistake on booking my reservation as I'd had my 17 and 18 yr old children and their daughter my 8 month old grandbaby with me and needed 2 beds and had accidentally reserved one bed and she helped me fix it right away at no extra charge which made the stay much more enjoyable .. so it's not bad for the price way better them some of the other placed I could have stayedv..I wish i knew the lady's name so I could give her proper recognition but I didn't see a name Tag ..but good job kudos to you dear ..though I did not see an indoor swimming pool as stated in other reviews nor did I see waffles or cinnamon rolls for brekfast..which bummed we out but all in all a pretty decent stay

I can’t express enough just what a gem this hotel is! I’ve worked in hotels and development for 25+ years and I was so taken aback by the pleasant surprise of our room that I immediately called the front desk to say “wow your rooms are fantastic and I just needed to share!” If you are in eureka, CA this hotel is nicer than any of the big brands and half the price. Oh, and the team - they make you feel so wanted and valued as a guest. You can’t go wrong with this property!

Positive: "" Negative: Room options - front desk gave away last first floor room to walk in guest before me and then put us right on the road. The breakfast was Costco granola bars, apples, coffee, juice. It was a joke.

Read the reviews! The hotel advertised breakfast included and the website shows waffles etc. the only thing provided was a package of oatmeal or granola bar. The rooms are damp and cold and the appliances were dirty and old. We paid extra for the services and felt mislead. Would not recommend.

Don’t let the area fool you! The outside may be a little bit older looking, but the room was SPOTLESS and updated inside! The bed linens and towels were snow white, and the updated decor was really nice. (Bed was a little too firm for me, but that’s personal preference, no reflection on the Super8) The bathroom lighting was great and the water pressure and temperature in the shower was PERFECT. The front desk staff at check-in, and the following morning at check-out, were efficient, friendly and helpful when I asked for directions. I would definitely book here again!

Thought it was a decent hotel room comfortable beds
But the breakfast hardly at that...
The shower leaked most of the pressure and the real kicker was the $40 charge for dirty towels
